Lauren Rivera Interiors

We contacted Lauren Rivera Interiors via her web page on Nov 10 and Lauren promptly returned our message on Nov 11th. We had an initial phone consultation and scheduled an in person consultation in our home on Nov 17th at 1PM. We paid Lauren $225 for this consultation and she showed up on time and met with us to discuss our project. On Nov 19th Lauren put together a design proposal for our project and sent this to us via email for review and acceptance. Lauren proposed to have a trades day on December 4th for measurements and indicated we could potentially have her presentation on Dec 17th. The start of construction was set to start Jan 2020 and the mid project check in was Feb 2020 with project completion of Mar 2020. The design fee proposal indicated we need to pay 50% up front for the design fee and trades fee. We paid Lauren $1322.50 which is 50% of the design fee on November 29th. Once we paid Lauren the $1322.50 she scheduled the Dec 4th meeting with herself and a contractor. After this meeting she indicated it would take a week to two to create the plans. We contacted her via email on Dec 26th with no response from her. We texted her on Jan 2nd she responded the next day indicating her family had been sick. Lauren said at that time she would have the details of our project by the weekend Jan 4. Jan 13th Lauren reached out to us indicating she had issues with sickness again and cabinet supplier issues. On Jan 20th she indicated that she would like to set up a meeting on Jan 21st to review design plan and indicated she wanted to bring out another contractor and he has the design plans. I responded to her text with 15 minutes indicating we would be available. That was the last time we heard from Lauren I have since sent her 3 text messages and 5 voicemails one pleading with her to just reach out to us to let us know whats going on. The last voice mail indicated we would be seeking legal counsel or the Revdex.com to help resolve our issue. Still no response from her Feb 3
