hahahahahahahahahaha- boy those duplicate fake reviews sure give an impression that all is well with this school, I have four words to anyone considering this school DONT DO IT PLEASE!
IT IS ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE TUITIONS OUT THERE AND THE DEGREE IS LISTED AS ASSOCIATES TURNS OUT IS AN OCCUPATIONAL ASSOCIATES WHICH MEANS ITS CAREER SPECIFIED YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE ANY MONEY FROM THE GRANT OR LOAN YOU TAKE OUT DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR AND UNLESS YOUR RICH AND HAVE SPARE TIME TO WASTE ON SUCH NONESENSE I SUGGEST YOU BLOCK THEM ON YOUR PHONE EMAILS ETC, AS WELL AS CHECK YOU CREDIT PERIODICALLY AS THEY MAY HAVE A UNAUTHORIZED LOAN OUT IN YOUR NAME . I attended the 3d Animation program back in 2011-when things were very basic and got excellent education from the instructors, and mid way through ended up with an internship that was offered through the college by a third party Since then I have gone back to Laurus in 2014-when the Associates Degrees were offeredLaurus made it simple and easy for me to go back and improved the way things were done, they gave me a computer and a drawing tablet for the 3D Associates degree at least, I can't speak for the other programs The quality of the instructors was incredible, they were all very knowledgeable and most of all willing to work with you, plus almost every instructor told me that if I ever have any questions about a project I'm working on in the future to call on them if I need help or another point of viewThe 3D Program / Associates Program was excellent The internship that I had has since turned into a job and Laurus has kept in contact about job opportunities and in touch to see if there is anything they could do for me It is fantastic to have actual support and help finding a job after you graduate, but Laurus actually does what they say if your committed to working in your field of study, whatever that may be

I attend Laurus College by taking the medical billing courseAt first I was really put off with the "online" thought but once I attended my first online class I grew to love the experienceOnce the semester was over I was eager to start the next oneThe instructors are very helpful and attentive to your learning needs, every class had a live teacher where you were able to ask questions on the spot and receive answers as you were in a physical classI would attend Laurus College again if I was able to do it again!

My Name is Tina B. and I am a Graduate of Laurus College. I attended the Webdesign Program in 2011 and 2012 so I could reenter the work force. I was scared to begin the classes because I knew nothing about Webdesign and I have a learning disability.
After about 2 classes the teachers and staff made me feel right at home. The teachers teaching style made it feel like having a one on one teaching environment which was just what I needed to be a successful Webdesigner.
Because of the amazing teachers and staff about half way thru the program I started my own Webdesign Company here in Santa Maria called CenCal Webdesign, that I am still running today all on my own and is a prospering company!! The teachers were nothing but supportive and helpful in my new adventure!! It's such a great feeling to have such a great support system that has your back!!
I highly recommend Laurus College to any one of any age that is looking for the BEST education and learning Experience!!

Review: I went to Laurus college to get information about a career I was interested in,which is billing and coating. I talked to the vice president and he convinced me to register for school. I Specificly told him that if my financial aid didn't cover the whole school I wasn't going to attend that school because it was to expensive. They took me to their financial aid person,C[redacted], and shows me that my financial aid wasn't going to cover it so I immediately tell the vice principal,PJ, that I'm not going to their school.Plus I was pregnat and having home issues so I couldn't afford it.He said I can get a student loan and I said no thankyou I wasn't interested and he said I can go to the first 4 days of clases because their free and if I didn't like it I didn't have to attend. I told him no thankyou I don't want to take that offer. So then a month later I get a call asking me how school was going and I told them that I wasn't going to their school that I told the vice principal that I wasn't going to go to their school already. Then another month past by and I get a phone call that I owe money for the clases. I went to their school and complained that why am I being charged when I didn't attend their clases at all. In their attendance they said that I didn't attend to none of their clases.And when I went to complain they said that I should sign a withdrawl form so they can stop charging me.So I signed it and they were also going to make me take a student loan just so I can pay them back. I went home and a week later I get a bill of almost $5,000 dollars for classes I never even went too and I checked their reviews online and I saw other people with the same problem.Desired Settlement: I shouldn't pay the bill. That's why I told them I couldn't join their school because I don't have the money.

I took the Business courses with Laurus and now own two businesses on top of being a Real Estate Agent at Keller Williams the largest real estate agency in the nation. Laurus College is the type of College you don't just attend, the Instructors, Admin and Office employees become your family. They want you to succeed just as much or even more then you want to. I went to Laurus back in 2008 and till this day everyone I knew are still available for me to talk to and ask questions if I need help. I highly recommend this college, its the best.
