The check included$11.50 for each of the 4 plants along with 1 hour of labor at $50 for pruning of the tree. front tree that interfered with the mailman delivering the mail. We started and completed the job on August 3 2015. At the time the homeowner had stated she wanted the entire tree trimmed. I was notified by the nursery that the plants arrived on 9/2/15. The homeowner was advised through emails the status of the plants before September 2 at which time the homeowner did not want them replaced anymore. Outside of the original scope of work we added 3 new daylilies and installed an extra 1.5 ton of topsoil into the landscaping that the homeowner was not charged for. A refund was issued to the customer for the dead perennials and a refund was given to the home owner for the pruning of the tree in order to satisfy the customer.ThanksZack Lavelle-Lavelle Landscaping

Revdex.com:We received a refund check of $106 for the pruning of tree that was never completed and the four perennials that died.  So, we consider the issue closed. However, I believe the owner is missing the point of our complaint.  We filed the complaint because he would not respond to our phone calls or emails even though the job had not been completed and he had been paid in full.  We finally got some resolution after the complaint was filed. We certainly do not intend to do any further business with him nor would recommend him.

Review: We contracted with Lavelle Landscaping for some work in our front yard. All work was completed as agreed on August 3 except for the pruning of a tree in our mailbox area. They were paid in full on August 3 with the understanding that they would be back the next day to prune the tree. This work was never been completed. Also, since then, all four perennials that were planted have died. The job came with a one year warranty on all plants and trees. When the owner was informed that the four perennials had died and that he never finished the job to prune the tree, he indicated that he would be at the nursery the week of August 24 to pick up the perennials and he would be out that week to replant them and prune the tree. That work has not yet been completed. After numerous attempts through emails and phone calls, we still have not gotten any response on when they will be out to finish the job.Desired Settlement: We would like the job finished or a refund given for the tree pruning that was not completed and the four perennials that have died.
