HelloI am responding to a complaint letter that I received from the Revdex.com on May 1, I apologize for the tardiness of my response, as I was on vacationApparently a complaint was filed against me abut a [redacted] van that was purchased on 2/13/The complaint states that this vehicle will not pass inspectionI am a little confused as to why the vehicle did not go in for inspection until 4/4/17, as the customer only has days to get the vehicle inspected after purchaseI have personally seen this customer several times in the store down the street, and have asked him each time how his vehicle is runningHe told me each and every time that he loved it, and it was greatThe first time I saw him he told me that it only needed rocker panel repair to pass inspection and that he was fixing itI assumed, of course, that since he was still driving the vehicle around after that time, that the problem was fixed and that it had already been inspected and that the vehicle passed inspection without issueHis mother, who was not the purchaser of the vehicle and was not here at the time of purchase, apparently called and spoke to my employee about the vehicle not passing inspectionI did not speak to his mother about this, since she was not the purchaser, and her son is an adult, and not a childThe customer never contacted me himself regarding this issueI did hear that he was slandering my business all over town, however, from other customers that I have that told me what he had saidI am confused as to why this customer never called me directly, or tried to come and talk to me for help in regards to this issueI feel that I am very fair with my customers, and help in any way that I can when an issue arises, as the last thing I want is an unhappy customerI help out people with vehicle problems, which can occur with a used vehicle, especially a vehicle that was $1,I help them even though they are verbally aware of the vehicle being "as is" at the time of purchase, and also sign an 'as-is" form stating soThis customer bought this van back in February and it is now MayBecause of the way this particular customer has handled this situation, along with the lack of contact from him, the length of time that has passed, and the disgraceful way he has presented my business to loyal customers, I do not plan to offer him a different vehicleNor do I offer "money back", and that is stated in writing in the office where I write the paperwork for these vehicles, so I will not be refunding his moneyThank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint
