Law Office of Andrew C. Heinegg PLLC

I received a letter from the Law Office of [redacted] PLLC dated: February 21, 2012 stating I owed $22,358.50 on a [redacted] credit card. I followed up immediately with a letter on March 15, 2012 asking for verification of debt within 30 days. I never received validation of debt under the Fair Credit Reporting Act that requires a creditor to respond from 30 days of receipt of my letter. So, I assumed since no records of verification of debt were ever sent to me within 30 days that the issue was closed out.
Well, I was served District Court Summons papers on 11/8/2013 in the evening by a gentleman. Court papers had a stamping of 10/09/2013 that says, FILED DISTRICT COURT.
