Complaint[redacted] offered her services to me for [redacted] to help with a bankruptcy case for my boyfriend back in [redacted] We payed her up front by taking out a loan, and putting it on credit cards. She took a very long time getting back to us, even after multiple emails and messaging. When she finally would get back she would say that she thought she already sent emails. I saw her once and she commented to me that she is taking a break from her practice. I asked if she was still taking care of us, which she said yes. After that contact stopped again. On [redacted] I told her that I no longer needed her help and requested a refund. On [redacted] she responded that she was missing info from us. 5 months later? I let her know once more that I would no longer need her assistance. [redacted] I messaged her again letting her know my work schedule so she could stop in. She reiterated the fact that she was missing info. I responded by letting her know that we were all set and I want the money back. She told me that she would refund me. I saw her at my job early [redacted] She asked me my work schedule. Conveniently she told me that she stopped in later that week, but I was not there. Skipping to [redacted] after multiple messages, I told her that I would give her two weeks or I was contacting the bb and my lawyer if she did not get the money back to me. Needless to say, I am writing this now. I have an email from a different client of hers that sounds eerily familiar to my issues with her, and feel that she should not take advantage of people.
