We would be more than happy to provide appropriate compensation for amounts paid above and beyond what the insurance carrier has paid out. Please provide an itemization of any monies paid that have not been reimbursed by the insurance company.

I am rejecting this response because: this was an issue even before the car was totaled when I was receiving letters from my bank that they had not received the title. They hadn't had an issue with a dealership before when it's come to getting paperwork and the dealership straigt up told me it was on them that it took so long because they sold us a vehicle that needed to be smogged and they failed to do so - which is what took them so long to process. This would've been a non-issue had it been processed correctly, already smogged, title with the bank by April (which by law should've been).

This was an unfortunate situation and we sympathize completely with the customer. She literally was caught between three entities, the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Bank and her Insurance Carrier, that were all incredibly slow at responding to her dilemma. She had totaled her vehicle almost...

immediately after purchasing it but the DMV paperwork had just started to work its way through the system and once they were done with it, it had to be further processed by her Bank. We called on multiple occasions to both organizations to help expedite and advocate for our customer, but dealing with those large organizations was painfully slow. We are indeed sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused to our customer and given the unfortunate circumstances of their lost and totaled vehicle can certainly understand her being upset. This story has a happy ending though. We have since confirmed with all parties that the paperwork necessary by her insurance carrier, the DMV and Bank has all been completed and the customer has been completely restored.
