Despite having no attorney-client relationship with Ms*** and Ms*** not having paid anything for my services, I fielded several phone calls from Ms*** and spent several hours of my time instructing Ms*** on what steps to take in order to get statements mailed out to her on the subject account and addressing her various concernsAdditionally, I offered to meet in person at my office, at no charge, with Ms*** together with my former client to answer any and all of Ms***'s questions and to review her credit report with her to determine if there were any inaccuracies that should be disputedMs*** never took me up on the offer
In this instance, the old adage of no good deed goes unpunished apparently holds true
