I got an unsolicited call on March 25, 2014 while I was applying for a mortgage lender from a lady by the name of [redacted] from Park View Law. Ms. [redacted] made it sound as she was working with a mortgage company and could help me clean my credit thus allowing me to get easy mortgage. She then immediately asked me to pay $650 to clean my credit via my credit card. I told her I needed some time to think about it as I wasn't too familiar about her services, although I liked what she was telling me about how she could clean my credit. When I told her I would call her back if interested she told me that it was time sensitive and that she would decrease the fee to get my credit cleaned by $100 as she really wanted to help me. After all was said and done she charged me $609.95 on the spot. Today I contacted the company after finding out from the Connecticut's Attorney General's office that Connecticut residents are not to allowed to be solicited by companies who promise credit repair fees in advance "in hopes" of getting their credit cleaned. Again, I didn't solicit this company nor was I given one single minute to do my homework to better understand what they were selling me. They rushed in paying them in advance, immediately. and now saying too bad they won't give you your money back now that I'm more educated about what we pulled on you.
