I personally spoke with this client two days ago and mailed her a new refund check yesterday She has been a client for years with two prior successful cases and one case in which the $was refunded as well I am suprised that she filed this complaint

Client Contacted us on March 28, to represent her regarding a speeding ticket under the name ' [redacted] ,' Citation No [redacted] .? We appeared in court on her appearance date of April 13, 2016, pled her not guilty and set the matter for trial for May 31, 2016.? We reminded the client by email that she had not paid our $fee.? She assured us that she would do so and in fact paid the retainer with a signed credit card receipt on May 31, 2016.We appeared at her and represented her.? However, we were not able to have her ticket dismissed as Officer Dally was present at the trial with his subpoena, notes and LIDAR calibration.? He testified that? he had independent recollection of the violation and that the Defendant was traveling mph in a mph.? Accordingly, we were unable to have the ticket dismissed? and she was ordered to pay a reduced fine and attend traffic school to have the point removed from her driving record.The results of the trial were automatically emailed to the defendant at the email address that she provided by our automated server on? June 10, 2016.? The reason for the delay was that the court clerk had not prepared the dockets until June 8, 2016.We did not hear from Ms [redacted] until July 5, at which time she stated that she was dissatisfied with the results and wanted us to refund her $50.? We explained that the attorney fee was non-refundable at which time she cursed at my staff and told them she was going to report us to the CA bar if the monies were not refunded.Ms [redacted] is now claiming she never retained us which seems odd as she had paid us for our representation.? If we had not made the appearances on her behalf, she would have received a 'failure to appear' default with an additional a civil assessment of $and a suspended driver's license? and possibly a warrant for her arrest.? ? ? ? ?

I just spoke with the consumer and am refunding her $retainer fee. After speaking with her personally, I believe she is now satisfied

There was no proposal or or attempt to solve anything just a response filled with lies. I was reminded on May 24, 2016, I did not pay the fee, but I never said that I would pay it plus was also informed that they could not represent me due to me not paying a retainer fee and that my trial was at 1pm on May 31, I will submit a copy of the email I received stating this belowI tried speaking to the lawyer and she would never speak to me so I did not want someone to represent me that could not even take the time to speak with meI still did not sign the retainer or pay the fee by the time of my trialOn May 31, I showed up to the courthouse to be told again that a lawyer showed up to represent me and that my trial was in fact at 10am that morningI never consented to have them represent me they showed up without me signing or paying a retainer feeI contacted the law office and was told they would not speak to me unless I paid the retainer feeNot feeling like I had any other option I paid the retainer on My 31stafter the trialThey still did not speak to me, but days later I received an email with my trial resultsI sent an email back on June 10, 2016, saying that they never spoke to me and the lack of communication was what caused the loss of my trialThe statement, "We did not hear from Ms*** (*** is my maiden name) until July 5,2016..." is also falseI can provide the email if need beI did contact the on July 5th requesting a refund, because after talking to a judge, lawyers and several other people I found out that the way they went about their business was wrong and that they could not force me to pay when I never actually signed anything before they went to trialThe fact that they lost my trial is not what this is aboutTheir shady business practices is the reason for reporting themWhen she claims I cursed at her staff I said the fact that they wont give me a refund when they represented me without my consent is bullstThat is the exact word I used and the only cuss word I usedShe is right in the fact that I still claim I never retained them is true because I did notI paid them after they lied to me about my trial time so I couldn't even show up to represent myself if I wanted, because I felt I had no other option. Since this situation occurred I have read review about the aw firm and people stating that they had this same situation happen to themLying about the trial time and/or date includedI will provided those reviews if need be as wellThis shady business practice needs to stopThey are scamming people out of their money and costing them even more money.*** *** ***

The law firm did finally return my calls after this complaint. Thank you Revdex.com, if it wasn't for this public complaint, they would have never resolve this matter. I guess they still care about their reputation. It just sucks that it had to come to this for me to get my $100 back. It wasn't like it was $1000, it was only $100.

I personally spoke with this client two days ago and mailed her a new refund check yesterday.  She has been a client for years with two prior successful cases and one case in which the $100 was refunded as well.  I am suprised that she filed this complaint.

Review: One of my traffic ticket case was not dismissed nor amended, therefore, my $100 should be returned to me. I did talk to [redacted], personally, and she said she had sent the $100 check to me but it was never cashed. She also said she will do a stop-payment on that check and reissue me another one. It's been 2-3 months and I havent receive the check, so I've been trying to get in touch with her. I've left 4 verbal messages and 3 emails and no response.Desired Settlement: I don't think [redacted] has a problem returning my money. I think she's probably too busy with Her business. But whether the case is $100 or $1000, I think she should resolve it. I think this is the only way I'll catch her attention.
