Law Offices of Herbert B. Silver

I hired the Herbert Silver Law firm to represent me in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy case. I followed all the instructions, provided all the required documentation and the case was supposedly discharged and closed on 03/26/13. Approximately four months later I received a letter from a creditor demanding payment for an amount that had been included and discharged in the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. I asked the creditor to contact the Attorney's office for verification. I then get a letter from the creditor and an email from the Attorney stating that the amount in question was not included in the case. I have documented proof that the Attorney included the amount and it was discharged. The creditor has since attached a lien on my property and is demanding payment for something that my Attorney included in my case. I hired this Attorney to handle my filing,it was the Attorney's responsibility to follow the law by only including debts that were legally allowable. Now the Attorney is claiming not to have included this one particular debt. I have written proof showing every item I gave the Attorney, I want to know what I can do about this situation. I have the emails sent to the Attorney Office with the list of Debts to be included and were included in the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. I sent this information 11.25.12 and received an email confirmaton of receipt on 11.26.12.
