I would first suggest that the customer read and review his retainer contract All actions taken by our firm, including the assignment of cases to attorneys the firm feels most appropriate, comply with the contract signed by
him. The retainer contract spells out in detail what a client should expect during the litigation and how our firm proceeds to represent clientsThe client fails to mention that his order of protection was "dropped voluntarily" AFTER Mr*** discussed the matter with clients "ex" in the hallway of the Courthouse prior to appearing before the Judge Also omitted was the fact that temporary parenting time was obtained, from the Court, for the client when previously he had none Client was not "promised" joint custody, only a judge can make that determination BUT a petition for joint custody, on behalf of the client, was in fact filed with the Court by this firm, which was pending at the time our firm withdrew from clients case, after permission to do so was granted by the Court Unless contrary action has been taken by the client since our firms withdrawal, this petition should still be pending and viable with the Court The errors referred to concerning the delay of child support payments was NOT caused by this firm but by the State of Illinois supplying incorrect data in the Notice of Withholding to the Employer This information/data problem was CORRECTED by Mr***
Prior to the last Court date our firm prepared a Joint Custody Agreement which was sent to client for his review and approvalClient did not return this document until the day before Court The next day it was tendered to his "ex" for review and approval She however had certain disagreements with it and would not agree to proceed that day, without proper time to review it The delay in returning this document to the firm by client was the reason no progress was made on September 23rd Lastly, it is not true that Mr*** laughed at client on October but attempted to secure payment of fees owed, so the firm could continue to represent clientAfter this discussion outside the Court room client left and did not even stay to attend his own Court session that day The firm expects payment for the services it rendered to client He was properly represented and pursuant to the retainer contract he signedHe can discuss payment arrangements with the Account Specialist he has communicated with in the past

Law offices of Jeffery M Leving took over $10,000 of my hard earned money. With out even going to the first court, regarding my sons case. I decided to pull the plug when they called me back In to their office demanding $2,000 to continue with the case. Crooks I tell you none of my money was reimburse and I just lost $10,000 in a blink of a eye. You have been warned stay away from this place!

I heard about the Law Offices of Jeffery Leving on the radio and contacted them. My son was desperate and depressed. He had not seen his son in 2 years and was getting ready to give up. I was heartbroken because I also could not see my grandson. We called Jeffery Leving's office and had a great consultation and hired the firm. The lawyer told my son not to give up hope. I am happy to say my son saw his son for the first time in 2 years for Thanksgiving. He now has a full visitation schedule and he is happy. We are very happy with this lawfirm. I am rejecting this response because: First of all they kept delaying my courts. I don't think my case should have taken more than one court to resolve. I had a notarized letter in which I showed them in tje beginning stating my parenting agreement. They said this was enough to show in court. In their charges tney repeatedly keep on charging me for joint custody preparation. Something that was never presented at a court?!! How am I suppose to be paying for services that where never put to use? They are over charging me for this. I am extremely disappointed. I thought this firm was here to help people and not take avantage of them. I feel used and laughed at. Mr [redacted] laughed at me!! He said why was I even there for!!
 Mr [redacted] never fixed my withdrawal situation. I have proof I called the child support place to update my information. He charged me for services he never did. All I want is them to stop harassing me every day. I don't feel satisfied with this firm at all. I will make sure everybody is aware of this Malpractice. They over charged people for simple things. I am being bullied by this firm. I payed $6500 and now they are trying to collect $12k more. I honestly would like my money back and for them to stop all this.  Ask them to show their charges. As I have no acess to them at this moment. I would also like all my personal information and original documents back from them. They are holding them from me I guess since they want money from me.

They did not address the violation of the contract regarding monthly invoices. I will send ARDC a copy of this complaint and response. This company is not sending me invoices. I have not received a current invoice, and the invoice I received double charged me for supposed services in May 2014. They also charged me in May 2014 and never informed me until 9-15-14. I only received a May 2014 invoice. This is unethical behavior. I am disputing the charges. I am supposed to receive monthly invoices. Since the business sent me a may invoice in September only proves I was intentionally deprived of invoices.
