Review: This Lawyer, [redacted], was hired by my boyfriend for a ticket involving a driving while suspended. He showed up twice and the court case was postponed both those times. My boyfriend contacted him for the next court case and was instructed to not show that he [redacted] (the lawyer) would show up. [redacted] did not causing a warrant of $600 to be put against my boyfriend. He paid the warrant and spoke to [redacted] about it who apologized saying he was on vacation and his secretary did not handle the courts like she was suppose to. Before the next court date my boyfriend was sentenced to prison for 5 years. I called and spoke to [redacted] letting him know that my boyfriend would not be able to attend the next court date because of this and even told [redacted] the date. [redacted] advised me he would go to court and handle it with them. A week after the court date I had not heard from [redacted] and called the courts and was told of a another warrant issued because [redacted] did not show up again. I then called [redacted] and [redacted] said he did not even know about the past court date. He promised to call the courts and handle it. Again I wait and hear nothing. I called the courts and handled the ticket with them. In speaking to the woman who worked there she advised to to contact the Revdex.com and even the Ethics Board about him. I called him today and asked for part of the payment made to him since not only did he not show up to court but in the end did nothing to handle the case at all.Desired Settlement: I do not want all of the payment back only $400 since the agreement was $100 per day he showed up in court. Since he only showed up twice and did nothing but get the cases postponed that the rest should be returned.
