Security of customer's confidential credit information is of utmost concern at D. [redacted]. We do not print out any confidential information regarding payment methods or credit card numbers. Nor do we store credit information on our servers. All...

credit information is secured by Yahoo since we are a Yahoo Store. We only print pick lists that contain the ordered items and the shipping information. So, all we can have to shred is information that is readily available from a phone book or a quick google search.
I understand Ms [redacted] concern, but there is no confidential information contained on the order pick sheets that we print and shred. I did however discover what I believe she is concerned about. We normally shred all documents from top to bottom, so that any one line is separated into many pieces. However, in an attempt to review our processes, I found that an operator had shredded some documents in the wrong direction and individual lines of information can be read. All this is non-sensitive information of course, but nevertheless readable.
Even though one could find out more about Ms [redacted] with a google search than you could piece together from a whole bag of shred -if it were available to you, we have destroyed all currently shredded paper. And, we are removing Ms. [redacted] from our customer database. Since all we have here is her ordered items and shipping information, and no credit information, that is all we can remove. Her name and address will still exist in the UPS and USPS shipping database since we have no control over that.
