Review: On February 12, 2015, I pre-paid for six (6) lawn treatment services for $365.98. On April 22, 2015, I went to Lawn Doctor in person to cancel my service. (None of the six services had been performed yet and I just wanted to cancel service and get a refund check.) The receptionist, [redacted], stated that the person who signs the checks has been out of the office all week. I was told to call tomorrow (April 23, 2015). On April 23, 2015, I called and was given the same statement as above. When I questioned if the owner of the company could sign a check for me, [redacted] stated that the owner was also NOT available. Supposedly Lawn Doctor has an "Outstanding Franchise Award" for customer service and customer satisfaction plays an important role in their business. As a customer for 8 years, I don't see it, and I just want my refund of $365.98.Desired Settlement: Since I don't trust these people to give me a valid check for my refund, I would like to be paid in cash.
