Please find enclosed, rebuttal to the subject complaint of [redacted] ***, Complaint # [redacted] Service being disputed was completed on 11/9/Technicians who performed the service have verified service was completedTechnicians who completed service for customer have been working for Lawn Doctor for over years and have a spotless recordThe customer contacted Lawn Doctor WEEKS after the service was doneBy this time any physical of a Core Aeration and over deed having been done would have been impossible to visually verify Customer was notified the day prior, that service was scheduled to be doneWhy did customer wait Weeks to call ? There are absolutely no grounds to support customer claimLawn Doctor will continue to vigorously pursue collection on this delinquent account to the fullest extent of the law

[In the attachment "Lawn Doctor.pdf" the original quote clearly states the service if for the "Total Square Footage" of "4,000" square feet and that this is for the "Entire" Area My front lawn measures 68' x 17' for a total square footage of 1, As I stated in a phone call with ***, the front lawn could not be 4,square feet as it is smaller than my house which is square feet The side yard is tiny - you can't drive a car through it and it's again a small house The comments at the bottom of this document make no mention of any rototilling or landscaping work that needs to be done prior The quote clearly states that it includes the back yard The quote and the invoice are for the entire yard however the larger back yard was not serviced In the attachment "Lawn Doctor Transcript of October 16th voicemail" the story clearly changes from the original quote and the actual size of my yard I am not responsible for paying for service of the "entire" yard of "4,000" Total Square Footage if the large back yard was not serviced In addition, I have lost the window to treat the backyard and am now behind a season in taking care of the backyard Not to mention the aggressive, insulting, threatening behavior that was directed to me ]

I am responding to the rebuttal filed by Lawn DoctorHe feels that because I didnt call in to make my complaint for weeks after the work was supposed to be done I should have no grounds. I submit it is just the oppositeWhy would I call to complain when I didnt think any work had been doneFurther, I had not been billed for any workAs soon as I recieved a bill in mid Dec I called right away.I thought we could settle the disputeI asked him to come out to the propertyIf he had done that I would have paid the bill even if I disagreed with himHe refused and instead turned it over to collections.Still hope this can be resolved in a satisfactory manner.Thank you for the opportunity to respond

In June of 2017, Ms*** signed up for serviceThe initial evaluation of the lawn notes the lawn was in serious state of disrepair with heavy weed coverage, poor turf density, insect issues and severe soil compactionShe was made aware of all these facts and acknowledged themWe told her
the preliminary applications would gradually eradicate the weed problem allowing what little grass there was to begin to propagate on it's ownShe was also informed, she would need a fall core aeration and power seeding to get her lawn backShe agreed and scheduled these services, on 7/31/2017, a month after starting a program, she decided to terminate services, which we didLawn Doctor completed the services in a thorough and professional mannerWe have absolutely no intention of refunding any money, and the balance due has gone to a collection agency with specific instructions to recover the delinquent balance to the fullest extent of the law

The subject customer requested a lawn evaluation from Lawn Doctor on 10/6/This estimate was performed by lawn technician *** *** on that dateThe serviceable lawn area was measured at 4,square feeton 10/7/the customer contacted Lawn Doctor and booked services totaling
for the area quotedIn addition to the serviceable area of the lawn there was an area of the lawn that could not be serviced due to rocks, ledge, tree roots, etcThis area of the property was not being mowed or maintained by the customerit was pointed out to the customer both prior to and after the service was completed that this area would have to be prepared by a landscaper with a heavy excavation equipment to remove rocks, ledge etcthis type of work is not done by Lawn Doctor and was not quoted in the original estimate, both in scale and in scopeThe customer has refused to acknowledge this factThe technician who performed the actual work (*** ***) concurred with the measurements and the accuracy of the original estimateThe work agreed to was completed in a satisfactory mannerthis account will stay in collection until such time the debt is satisfiedThe matter is closed

for over 10 years and have a spotless record. The customer contacted Lawn Doctor 7 WEEKS after the service was done. By this time any physical of a Core Aeration and over deed having been done would have been impossible to visually verify.  Customer was notified the day prior, that service was scheduled to be done. Why did customer wait 7 Weeks to call ? There are absolutely no grounds to support customer claim. Lawn Doctor will continue to vigorously pursue collection on this delinquent account to the fullest extent of the law.
