Lawn Doctor of Lancaster

I had used Lawn Doctor for my lawn service for over 10 years. Last year I had several problems with completing service in a timely manner. I decided not to move forward with them this year. Regardless, they did a treatment of my lawn on March 15th, 2016. I called them to tell them I would not be using them this years and the woman on the phone told me I would be billed for the service. I told her I wouldn't pay for it as I had not agreed to it. She said she would send me the bill anyway as service now renews until you cancel it. This had not been the policy and is an obvious change. Moreover, they had not informed me of this change. It was very interesting to me that 3 days later on March 18th I received a post card requesting me to renew to the tuneof $303.00 for the Bronze program. I clearly received this AFTER I called to inform them that I would not be using them this year. They did not inform me and are trying to charge for a service notice I did not receive prior to that service. Additionally, a week later on March 25th they sent me an invoice which states "Lawn Doctor will renew your annual service until you tell us to discontinue." That was 9 days after I informed that I would not be using them for their service. They are clearly trying to make it look like they sent me the notice after the fact and charge me $56.82 for the initial application I never got the notice to cancel prior to its .
