Review: Lawn Doctor sent a quote stating they could treat my lawn for $341. which I paid in advance so I could get a 5% discount and a free fall fertilizer as advertised. After several treatments, weeds appeared on the side yard and back. I called several times to get satisfaction in July and was finally told that the quote provided was only for 5000 ft2. A quote for the entire yard was going to be $91 instead of $53. By this time, the crabgrass had taken hold and ruined my lawn. I cancelled the service in July and requested a refund of the balance of my account. I called several times. One response was checks are written out at the end of the month (August). Other times, I was told the boss would call me which he never did.Desired Settlement: A check for $170.16.

Please be advised that the above individual was mailed a letter that states service(s) can be provided to the "square foot area on file," (ex: the 6,000 sq.ft. area on file"). There was never a call placed to our office prior to the customer mailing in the cut-off portion to activate services, questioning the area(s) this letter covered. In addition there is a small section of the return portion of the letter that confirms the square footage indicated on the main portion of the letter, so that our office can confirm that is the portion in which services were elected. (please see the bottom right corner of the letter, highlighted, the 1st number indicates the total size honored, the 2nd number indicates a monthly payment amount, the 3rd set of numbers is the price per application). Furthermore, there were 3 services completed prior to any call made to our office to discuss which areas were being serviced. Despite there being visibly obvious treatment to the front and sides, there was no question until after the 3rd application as to why nothing had been applied to the rear of the property.

Please be advised that we have processed a refund in the amount of$170.16 per the customer’s request. This refund will be mailed out in the next 7-10 business days. As a courtesy we have waived the $20.00 refund processing fee.

We apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding, that's never our intention. We do indicate on our letters that the offer is valid for the square foot area on file, in some instances that may not be the entire property.
