Review: We hired LMS to provide a landscape solution to the erosion problem on our side yard next to the road. After the work was completed we very happy with the looks of the landscaping with the Belgium Block boarder between our grass and the rocks LMS placed at the roads edge. After the first heavy rain however, the rocks LMS had put down had washed out into the road creating a hazard to the traffic. Since I was out of the country my wife called LMS and they came out and shoveled the rocks back into place but in conversation with [redacted] no permanent solution to our problem was forthcoming. Quite sometime later when the next heavy rains came and LMS was closed my wife, who was by herself, ended up shoveling the hazardous rocks off the road. Since LMS had not tried to help us with a solution to our problem and the fact I didn't want my wife caught in this position again, I took action. In order to solve the problem of the rocks getting washed away I placing large landscape rocks at the corner of the property to take the brunt of the run off. This worked for very long time until we had an unusually heavy rainstorm and the rocks beyond the corner where the landscape rocks were had washed onto the road again. Fortunately that Sunday night I was home to get the hazardous rocks out of the road. To provide a permanent solution to the problem I placed large cement curbing down the entire length of our side property to block the water from washing the rocks onto the road just like the large landscape rocks had done. Over the period of time this had all taken place our contact at LMS, [redacted] VP/Manager had gotten replaced by [redacted], who had gotten replaced by [redacted], who told me our landscape work was a bad design, had also left. After working on permanent solution to bad design for over 2 years I finally was finally put in contact with [redacted] President of LMS. I ask Richard if he would help with my costs in materials to fix LMS's bad design and he said no.Desired Settlement: I ask [redacted] to just reimburse me for the large landscape rock and cost of the cement curbing. The total was $1471.28 I did not ask for reimbursement for other materials; more rock, landscape fabric, asphalt, and cost of the laborer who help me with the large job of installing 32 240 lbs cement curbs to complete the job.
