Good morning,In response to Mr. [redacted] concern regarding the free fall aeration that was not completed: We did, unfortunately have an issue with an ex-employee in the fall of 2014. In our system it was posted that Mr. [redacted] free fall aeration was completed on 8/11/2014. It was later in the fall...

that it was brought to our attention that the ex- employee had posted 6 jobs that he had not completed. At that point in season it was too late to complete the aeration that we thought had already been completed.Once it was determined that we had an employee that was being dishonest he was immediately terminated. Lawn Medic has a strict code of conduct and again this ex-employee's actions do not reflect the almost 2 decades of quality service that we have provided to thousands of customers throughout Indiana.We did commit to Mr. [redacted] that we would complete the free aeration in the spring of 2015. However, we applied a pre emergent for crabgrass prevention on 3/13/2015. By aerating the property at the time Mr. [redacted] requested this would have broken the crabgrass barrier that we had applied in March and thus would have promoted a crabgrass issue that would have resulted in Mr. [redacted] lawn being affected with crabgrass throughout the 2015 season. Mr. [redacted] did request a specific day to have the free aeration completed and unfortunately we were unable to meet that request due to not having a technician in that area on that specific day.Lawn Medic is committed to resolving this matter. We would be happy to aerate the lawn at no charge for Mr. [redacted] and we would also treat his lawn for the remainder of 2015 at no charge. Again, this was a free aeration. Mr. [redacted] did not pay for this service. We offered the free service and would be happy to fulfill our commitment to completing it and in addition we would treat the lawn for the remainder of 2015 at no charge.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
We have sold the house and would not need the service from this business anymore. Though the business claimed it is a free aeration, we decided to use their service by comparing their total cost of lawn treatment and aeration with same service quotes from other lawn service companies. Again, the cost of aeration has been included and considered. No matter which part you claim free, the total cost is what customers really care. As the business did not provide service as promised, even given three chances, they just deliver the service. Now it is just too late, and the fault is clearly on the business. I did not think I should just let go of all my time wasted and my loss on the aeration. As I stated at the beginning, the only acceptable solution is a $100 compensation which is the average cost for an aeration.
