Review: I have used this business for lawn care fertilization for the past few years. This year when he sent out contracts, I did not want to use him and did not sign or return a contract. He came anyway without notifying me and serviced my lawn and left a bill. I called him and he told me that he automatically comes if he had a previous contract and that it is stated on the mailing that he comes unless notified otherwise. I have never dealt with a business that came without being contacted or without a contract. He never called to schedule the service this year and I assumed that without a contract, he would not come.Desired Settlement: I would like this poor practice recorded for any future inquiries on this business.
I am writing on behalf of our client, Lawn Ranger of [redacted] concerning your notice about receiving a complaint with ID number [redacted].Lawn Ranger has been working with this client for many years and has not had a problem before. The issue at hand is that Lawn Ranger provided a lawn treatment even though the client said after he performed the work that she did not want it. At the beginning of each year the Lawn Ranger sends out a "notification of services" with a cover letter stating pricing and other information. At the bottom of the page it states that "This is a continuous service unless I hear from you othenruise". Since there was no response from the customer, the Lawn Ranger proceeded to perform the work as scheduled based on the timeline from last year.For your reference I have attached a sample packet for the 2016 year. Thank you in advance for your time and allowing my client the opportunity to respond.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. This is the response I expected. I just wanted my complaint to be on file. Thank you.
