The elderly man is years old and very experiencedI talked to the customer and she said she had broken dishes, but none of the boxes were dropped, crushed or damagedThat means under handling things that are not packed properly could get brokenSince the customer did the packing we are
not responsible for those itemsI have enclosed a copy of the receipt which has start and stop times noted as hours of work and hour travel, totaling hours at the 2-man rate which is $per hour for a total of $The 3-man rate would have been $per hour, but we only sent men on this job because we were told she had pieces of furniture and a lot of boxesIt appears she under estimated what she had to moveYes I talked with her in regard to damagesI said none were noted but I would come out and touch up the furnitureI do not remember them calling back, but I would still be happy to go out and do the repair for her.*** ***

[redacted]My sister, [redacted], is the one who talked to [redacted]   [redacted] told her that he would contact me and come down and repair my couch and dryer.  She gave him my phone number and I never heard from him at all.  The old man who you said was 49, said he was not supposed to climb stairs, didn't appear to be that young and was very slow.  Boxes were upside down, some of which were marked fragile, hence, two [redacted] items were broken.   The young man worked hard, and was ok.  I will have to repurchase the [redacted] items, which were costly.  Just check on their site for "Behold the Child" and [redacted]  I will get someone else to repair my items; I did not tell them I only had 11 pieces of furniture.  Had they not been slow getting to the apartment with the boxes, the time would have been shorter.  [redacted] was also told that prior moves only cost a little over $400; just about a year before.  A copy of  it was e-mailed to him.  Tell him to never mind; we will never use that company again and tell other not to.

[redacted] booked a move with Larry's Movers Inc. for 12/30/16. This move was booked on 12/15/16 at which time a $100.00 deposit was paid. Upon our crews arrival on 12/30/16 [redacted] showed our crew the furniture that was to be moved and the beds that were to be taken apart. The crew leader...

attempted to disassemble one of the beds but could not because the bolt in the bed needed a specific wrench designed for that bolt. The crew leader asked [redacted] if the bed had came with a wrench when he purchased it. [redacted] informed the crew leader that the bed did come with a specific wrench for that bed when he purchased it but he did not have the wrench or any tools. The crew leader explained to [redacted] that without that wrench he would be unable to disassemble the bed. [redacted] told the crew leader that if they could not disassemble the bed then there was no point in the crew being present and wished the crew a good day. I was contacted by [redacted], she told me that she was not at the home wit[redacted]. I attempted to explain to [redacted] the conversation between [redacted] and the crew, I also suggested to [redacted] that she should speak wit[redacted] regarding what had happened. [redacted] was extremely irate. [redacted] claimed that our crew was lying and that the crew simply left with no explanation. I explained to [redacted] that this was a veteran crew that would not leave a job site without explanation. I also explained that [redacted] asked the crew to leave. It would not make sense for one of our crews to simply leave a jobsite without explanation as the crews are paid based upon the amount of hours they work. If the crew does not work they do not get paid. [redacted] threatened to file a lawsuit if I did not have her deposit back in her account today. I attempted to explain to [redacted] that I do not have control over when the bank transfers her funds to her account after I refunded the deposit, but she hung up the phone before I could do so. [redacted] called back about 20 - 30 minutes later. [redacted] was so angry that I could hear her shouting at my office staff from across the office. [redacted] demanded that I send another crew to her home. She informed me that [redacted] had disassembled the bed without the use of any tools. Later in the conversation [redacted] informed me that [redacted] used a half inch wrench to remove the bolts from the bed. At that point I had spoken with the crew, the crew leader did in fact have a half inch wrench in his tool box that would not fit the bolt. I explained to [redacted] that had [redacted] told the crew leader that he did have the proper wrench to take the bed apart the crew would have disassembled the bed. Based on our conversation I felt the situation would only be aggravated if I sent a crew to move [redacted]. I informed [redacted] that I had already refunded her deposit at 9:44am and that I would not send a crew to move her. I wished [redacted] luck in finding a mover to fit her needs. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority, had [redacted] handled the situation without screaming or threatening myself and our office staff I would have been more than happy to send the crew back to her home. However, I can not allow my crew to be potentially placed in a volatile situation.
