Lawns to Limbs Reviews (%countItem)

Had this Company take down a large Pine tree that was leaning toward our home so bad, it was worrying us ever time the wind blew. The owner and his crew performed a great job and did it at a fair price. Would recommend them to my family members and neighbors.

My husband & I hired Lawns to Limbs to cut a total of 6 trees.
However, a total of 5 trees were cut yet we were charged for 6 trees.
The original quote was between $600.00 to $650.00 but we were charged $750.00.
I called and spoke to Dawn who handles billing & does the scheduling. She stated She would reimburse and send a check back for not cutting the 6th tree. Services were completed in December 2019 and it's now February 2020 and we still haven't received the check.
I called several times since Dawn agreed to send the check to follow up with her but she doesn't answer my calls she doesn't retun my calls and also hung up on me on one occasion. I tried texting as well with no response.
It's the principal of the matter for me.
and don't want this to happen to anyone else.

Lawns to Limbs prides its self on being a professional company. The statement the customer made is a distortion of the truth. The estimate was $773 it was preapproved prior to the services being rendered. The software our company uses for estimates/invoicing is sent out to our customers for approval prior to starting a job. The customer approved the estimate ( see attachment), upon arrival of service date homeowner advised they wished to leave one of the trees originally estimated , but during walk through agreed to have additional trees cut to lessen damage to surrounding vegetation. After completing the work as agreed in estimate and walk through . Homeowner made payment but check.see attached invoice .we are confused were the problem lies to be completely honest mind you the homeowner was on site though the whole conduction of the job ,the homeowner also contributed drinking water to the crew upon completion and final walk though of the job. She graciously payed by check and never mentioned at amount difference I assumed the additional trees cut down were in place of the one the one the homeownes decided to keep would suffice the amount. She only call approx one week after job was completed with a complaint stating that she felt we charged he for the tree that we didn't cut at there request,And basically inquired if we would be willing to reimburse her for that tree at a rate of $50 , look at dates on est/invoice. With the info provided we would like this removed. We pride ourselves on a job done well and being a professional company. See attached

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response from the business.
The original "verbal" quote after *** and *** was between $600 -$650.00 dollars after my husband walked the area with and discussed at length the trees to be removed. This is when the verbal quote was given. My husband agreed to move forward and to put us on the schedule. Within a couple days I was sent in short a contract via text to remove the trees. I never responded to the text or any written agreed to anything. On December 16th at 8:17am I received a text from *** that they were on their way to cut down the trees. At that time they came to cut the trees (my husband was NOT home). When my husband returned home later in the day he noticed (1) tree was NOT cut and I called the SAME day and talked with *** and explained that (1) remained and we said leave the tree but prorate the charge. *** was going to talk to her husband and call me back. *** NEVER did call back. I initiated a text on December 16th at 4:59pm explaining that NOT all trees were cut. *** replied (I'm driving" I then called following up with the status on: December 17th at 4:14pm, *** stated she talked to her husband and he "thought" he cut all the trees but will reimburse us for the tree that wasn't cut $50.00. I followed up again with phones calls on December 18th at 8:33am, January 23rd at 9:52am, February 11th at 2:35pm, (*** hung up on me) I called back February 12th at 2:50pm and again 2:58pm with no answer also sent a text that I would be more then happy to (pick up the check) asking what day would be convenient for her OR her husband on Wednesday, February 12th at 2:55pm (with no response from ***.
It is February 14, 2020, and still HAVE NOT received the check. I would like this resolved as soon as possible.
I will provide phone and text records upon request. My husband and I are very disappointed that we went to a business owned by a Firefighter and are still dealing with this issue because it could of easily been resolved. Both my husband and I retired from working within the Public Safety Environment, we expected more professionalism and attention to detail.
I did provide water, why wouldn't I?

I hope to receive my check soon so this matter could be resolved.

We do a walk thru prior to the job being done. That's why we have estimate approved be for arrival. We do not give out verbal estimates for this reason. Sent estimate and recieved prior approval . See attachments. Mrs *** did a walk thru after the job was completed . 2 smaller trees were taken down in the place of the 6th tree. We strive to serve our clients in the best possible way. Ms *** approved estimate, walked the job over, paid the invoice, there was never an issue. We are not obligated in anyway to refund money. However $50 will be sent out to relive us from this harassment and burden.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The statements made from this business is NOT accurate and changed throughout.

I did receive a %50.00 check, Revdex.com thank you for your assistance. In an effort to seeking justice I do not believe I am a burden or harassing anyone. At this point going through this ordeal was very disappointing to say the least. In short, Consumer BEWARE you may also be described as a burden and harasser after seeking fairness from this disreputable business.
