Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

This is in response to complaint #[redacted], as to date I have not received any reimbursement nor the inadequate equipment removed from my property, so I can move forward and repair my damage lawn.

On July 26th, 2013, I, [redacted] and two of my well and irrigation specialists drilled a 4” agricultural well for [redacted], Federica, Delaware. On November 3rd, 2012, I drilled a similar well...

located four houses up from [redacted] to a depth of 50 feet and he has had beautiful well and a good functioning well. [redacted] house elevation is downhill from this other well by approximately 15-20 feet. After drilling and developing [redacted] well, we had marginal water flow. We spent the rest of the day developing the well to try to get the most water possible. After completing our job, I was not satisfied with the amount of water it was producing. On Monday, July 29th we went back to [redacted] house and drilled another well in a different location. After drilling the second well between 26’ and the 50’ depth, this well produced even less water. So we went back to the first well and tried various techniques to get a better water flow, we were unsuccessful. After hooking his irrigation system to the new well the system worked well. Once we left, the well had produced only enough water to run a few zones there was not enough water to run the rest of the cycle. After spending another 36 hours and $350,000 worth of equipment, we were unsuccessful. All in all, I had tried for 3 full days to get [redacted] water the same way that we did for his neighbor at 50’ but we could not get the same results. At that point in time, I explained to [redacted] that we could not get enough water between the 26’ and 50’ level and that we would have to drill 240’ to a confined aquifer which would yield more than enough water to run his irrigation system. The rest of the wells that were drilled in the development were drilled at a depth of 240’ as well. But I explained to [redacted] that in order to drill another well I would only charge him for the difference of 50’ to 240’ which would be 210’ x $12 per foot to drill a third well. I would NOT charge him for the total price again. The total amount of a well would be $2,520.00. Our well contract states that we will drill to a depth of 50’ and anything deeper will be charged at a rate of $12 per foot. [redacted] did not want to pay that extra amount which would have been $2,100.00 compared to $2,520.00. My irrigation foreman, who has worked with me for 24 years, and myself, worked another 12 man hours to see if we could do anything else possible to make the irrigation system work. And once again, the well just would not produce the water. During this entire process, after we left each time, we turned the water on to his irrigation system from the house so his lawn would stay green and lush. In addition, we perform our 6 applications of organic plus health lawn care, which [redacted] initially contracted us for. While we were working on the system during the last visit, I also explained to Mrs. Hall that we would have to drill to the confined aquifer to get the water since there was not enough water between the 26’ and 50’ range. She said she would talk to her husband and they would get back to us. [redacted] called my office while I was in New Zealand for 16 days for our son’s wedding and when I returned I received this letter, from the Revdex.com, on my desk on February 18th, 2014. Based on [redacted]s request I will remove the pump from the well and credit [redacted] half of his deposit. Sincerely, [redacted] President

Review: [redacted] February 12, 2014.[redacted] Lawns Unlimited LTD 15089 Coatal Highway Milton DE, 19968 Dear BBC I am writing to you to complain about lawns Unlimited LTD. I did business with this company around July of 2013 and currently still awaiting a proper response to the Irrigation water well that was installed on my property to water the lawn. The well never produced enough water since it was installed to maintain the grass around the property.I work in New York and live in Delaware so most of week days I in New York. I came back to Delaware on a weekend and notice most of the grass brown and the well not pumping enough water to maintain the grass. I contacted [redacted] who came out a few times, but was still unable to resolve the issue with the well. December of 2013 I received a bill in the mail for the balance 1,747.26. The well is still not producing enough water and I am receiving a bill for the remaining balance. Lawns Unlimited received a check for 1,600.00 as a down payment to install the well.Desired Settlement: I request a partial refund of the down payment meaning half, the water well equipment removed of my property and the grass around the property restored back to its vibrant look, prior to Lawns Unlimited installing an inoperable well. I choose not to conduct anymore business with this company as it pertains to a water well.
