Review: I purchased a sectional sofa from Lawrance furniture store in [redacted], after 6 weeks I recieved a product that was not only damaged but wasn't what I excpected from a high end store like "Lawrance". I was very upset & disapointed for what I recieved . After sending letters to the mangment and the repair was done to the sofa still I wasn't able to enjoy what I paid for . I was affarid if the product will fail after the warrenty is over. The managment disagreed to exchange the sofa cause of miscalculating and disagreemnet on the price.I can not express how disappointed I am with this company, not only I will never go to the store but I will tell all my friends & family in social media about how unprofessional , dissatisfying , discriminating and NOT generous at all Lawrance furniture store is.Desired Settlement: After being humaliated & discriminated by Lawrance furniture store my Family and I suffered a great deal of personal hardship including emotional distress.I am bringing this to your attention to resolve this matter by having Lawrance furniture store pay me back $10,000 for pain and suffering they caused me & my family. As I prepared a submission to the right agancies to take a legal action untill I hear from you.

We are so sorry that we could not satisfy Ms [redacted]. There was nothing wrong with her set. As she states, she feared it "might" fail after warranty expires. In any case, we quickly realized that we could not satisfy her so we agreed to take the custom ordered set back and simply refund all of her money. When we advised her that we needed to refund a portion to her credit card......the same manner in which she paid us, she insisted on a refund by check. We informed her that the credit card companies require us to issue refunds to the same card if that is how payments were received. We have issued a full refund to her and sent the receipt registered mail. She has received the copies.

There is nothing more we can do. Hopefully Ms [redacted] will find something she can live with elsewhere.

I am so disappointed with the respond I got back from Lawrance furniture store . When a owner/ manager of the store lies !!! it is pretty pathetic .

First , as of today 5/28/2013 we haven't got One penny credit back to my account !!! when I asked the store to issue me a check for the full amount it was because we paid off my account in full ...!!! But the Lawrance furniture store is so cheap and refused to pay the full amount in check, they wanted to credit back my account and it has been almost 2 weeks and NO CREDIT has been issued !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It shows hoe Unprofessional & irresponsible this business is towards their customers.

Second when you say there is NOTHING wrong with the sofa !!! Then how come a over $3000 sofa arrive at my place and already fallen apart !!??? The buttons were missing and the metal pieces who was connecting the sofa got broken ....Then what else you wanted to happen ?????!!!!!! Do you call this a product that worth $3,500 ?????

I certainly don't think so ??? I wouldn't even pay $500 for it !!!! I do work hard for my money and I don't wish to spend it on a product that doesn't worth my money .

I thought the Lawrance company is behind their product But apparently they are NOT !!!

I will not only take this matter to the court of law but I also want to assure Lawrance company if they don't resolve this issue to my satisfactory then, they are ONE phone call away from making the national televisions headline news .

I have never dealt with such company full of Lies & deceptions before and never will !!! I call Lawrance furniture store thieves & Liars !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On May 21 someone at your residence signed for a certified mail piece (see attached, with accompanying letter dated May 20) This Certified mail also had a copy of the credit card credit enclosed (see attached). You did receive this. The refund has been credited to your account. You can verify this with your credit card company. We are sorry, but their strict policies are to refund consumers in the same manner and on the same credit card which was used to pay for the goods.
