Hello here is my response I would like posted concerning interior moving services, inc: On 8/we were expecting interior moving services to arrive with men at our home at 8am to begin our moveConcerned after a half hour passed we called the company and they told us they were running late due to staffing issues which was fine although a phone call was expectedIt was 10a by the time they began working with only men and our third man arriving well after that which obviously impacted our total labor time and costDuring the move the men were very aware of the furniture quality as they were vocal about pointing out prior damages and explaining that the lower value laminate pieces could be damaged in transit which I understoodIn fact one commented on the high quality and weight of our brand new $solid wood dresser (which was damage free)As the move continued everything was fine loading up although I did notice on our receipt we were charged for picture sleeves, paper and bubble wrap and none of that was usedWe actually transported our picture frames in our own vehicle and provided instructions and zip lock bags to keep important screws organizedWhen we arrived at our new home before my husband stepped out he ordered the men food and drinks and we were very accommodating if they needed anything (water, sweat rags etc)The lead worker then began acting very unprofessionallyHe took it upon himself to walk into the kitchen and open my fridge to serve himself a drinkHe was on his phone a lot of the time and cursed several times in front of my year old sonHe then asks me if I had seen the screws for my sons bunk bed! Then the second worker begins to sing and rap loudly as he worksI bring it to their attention and respectfully ask that they both keep their voices down so as not to disturb the new neighborhood and more importantly to not use profanityThey both apologize reluctantly and that was fineThen I smell cigarette smoke in the house and realize the second worker is smoking in our doorway and sets his cigarette butt on the mailbox of my new homeI bring it to his attention and he denies it is his and throws it into the lawn of my new homeAt this point I make it clear that they are being completely unprofessional and worker and begin to defend themselves by arguing with me about how hard the job is! The third worker steps in very politely and apologizes sincerely on their behalfThey proceed to move the wood dresser up the stairs but work ineffectively as a team and just try to shove it up the stairsSeeing this I am visibly angry and tell them to just put the dresser downMy husband then returns to a much more subdued group of menHe gave them a check in full which was very nice of him and they apologized again to my husband and leftThe following day I noticed when my son climbed into his bunk bed that several pieces were floating and not properly anchored downI realized I hadn’t asked the lead worker if they had in fact found the screws he had misplacedClearly he did not find them and didn’t have the decency to bring it to our attention! This is a loft storage bed with many large pieces so there were too many opportunities for our son to be hurt due to the negligence of this companyLater we found our bed was also not assembled correctly as the drawers would not close properlyAs we wonder what to do with the wood dresser I notice several deep gashes and scratches on each cornerWe decide to take the wood dresser upstairs ourselves and low and behold two patient people got it up without much trouble at all! We called and spoke to the supervisor Naomi Marshall several times allowing plenty of time for a resolutionShe actually had the audacity to insinuate that we could of have damaged the dresser not them! Each time she put us on hold for unreasonably long periods of time, many times disconnecting the call and then condescendingly accusing us of hanging up on her and being difficult with her!! She always promised to get back to us or have someone call us and literally never once kept her wordShe suggested sending someone to fix the damages to the dresser and also to "throw in a couple screws” to secure our sons bed! I made it clear I did not want any further services she had to offerWe payed for a professional service to dissemble, move and reassemble our furnitureThat is hardly what we actually receivedThe crew was late, went over in time due to manpower, behaved ridiculously, damaged our property and had negligent work ethic - losing screws, not wrapping items and above all failing to communicate a childs bed was a safety issue! A refund extended to a consumer due to service error is standardWhat I asked for was a partial refund which I think any consumer would agree is reasonable given the incompetent customer service we instead received

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Though I still feel they are a shady, unethical, unprofessional business.

Phone response - Originally the consumer didn't want the desk anymore, so it was put to the curbthen his mother said he should keep itWe gave him $for an item he originally wanted thrown out, that is all we can do

Interior Moving Services was in fact hired to move Ms. [redacted]. There were only 2 men requested at time of service order being placed. A third man was provided after being requested to the 2 man crew that arrived to move Ms. [redacted]. The customer was also not fully packed or prepared for the...

move. The only damage that is valid was a lamp that had preexisting damage and had been previously repaired which did  in fact break. At the time of the move we were advised that the lamp's value was 759.00 and the customer was also advised that they did not purchase additional insurance for coverage of the belongings therefore the compensation for the item would be .30/#.  Also, the customer refused to pay in full for the moving services and due to terms and conditions of the contract signed and authorized by the customer a claim can not be started until there move has been paid in full. With regards to any other damages or claims the customer was advised to send in photos and specific details of any additional complaints and failed to do so. There are always two sides to every story and Interior Moving did in fact attempt to rectify matters and address the customer complaint however the customer did not pay there bill or follow through with additional information that needed to be provided. At this point the customer is at risk of Theft of Services and could be charged. There will not be any additional compensation by Interior Moving Services.

Hello here is my response I would like posted concerning interior moving services, inc:  On 8/2 we were expecting interior moving services to arrive with 3 men at our home at 8am to begin our move. Concerned after a half hour passed we called the company and they told us they were running late due to staffing issues which was fine although a phone call was expected. It was 10a by the time they began working with only 2 men and our third man arriving well after that which obviously impacted our total labor time and cost. During the move the men were very aware of the furniture quality as they were vocal about pointing out prior damages and explaining that the lower value laminate pieces could be damaged in transit which I understood. In fact one commented on the high quality and weight of our brand new $900 solid wood dresser (which was damage free). As the move continued everything was fine loading up although I did notice on our receipt we were charged for picture sleeves, paper and bubble wrap and none of that was used. We actually transported our picture frames in our own vehicle and provided instructions and zip lock bags to keep important screws organized. When we arrived at our new home before my husband stepped out he ordered the men food and drinks and we were very accommodating if they needed anything (water, sweat rags etc). The lead worker then began acting very unprofessionally. He took it upon himself to walk into the kitchen and open my fridge to serve himself a drink. He was on his phone a lot of the time and cursed several times in front of my 7 year old son. He then asks me if I had seen the screws for my sons bunk bed! Then the second worker begins to sing and rap loudly as he works. I bring it to their attention and respectfully ask that they both keep their voices down so as not to disturb the new neighborhood and more importantly to not use profanity. They both apologize reluctantly and that was fine. Then I smell cigarette smoke in the house and realize the second worker is smoking in our doorway and sets his cigarette butt on the mailbox of my new home. I bring it to his attention and he denies it is his and throws it into the lawn of my new home. At this point I make it clear that they are being completely unprofessional and worker 1 and 2 begin to defend themselves by arguing with me about how hard the job is! The third worker steps in very politely and apologizes sincerely on their behalf. They proceed to move the wood dresser up the stairs but work ineffectively as a team and just try to shove it up the stairs. Seeing this I am visibly angry and tell them to just put the dresser down. My husband then returns to a much more subdued group of men. He gave them a check in full which was very nice of him and they apologized again to my husband and left. The following day I noticed when my son climbed into his bunk bed that several pieces were floating and not properly anchored down. I realized I hadn’t asked the lead worker if they had in fact found the screws he had misplaced. Clearly he did not find them and didn’t have the decency to bring it to our attention! This is a loft storage bed with many large pieces so there were too many opportunities for our son to be hurt due to the negligence of this company. Later we found our bed was also not assembled correctly as the drawers would not close properly. As we wonder what to do with the wood dresser I notice several deep gashes and scratches on each corner. We decide to take the wood dresser upstairs ourselves and low and behold two patient people got it up without much trouble at all! On Sunday, August 2, 2015; Interior Moving moved the [redacted].  During the move, we were unable to move a dresser up the stairs at the new home.  The movers left the dresser on the first floor.  Ms. [redacted] called and stated that her and husband were able to move the dresser...

upstairs.  She also stated it was damaged.  I explained to her that I was not sure we were still liable for the damage since someone else moved it.  She also said she was missing some screws to her son's bunkbed.  I offered to send someone out to replace the screws and take a look at the dresser.  Ms. [redacted] said "Why would I have anyone from your company come to my house to do anything else."  I explained to her that since it was just screws we would just come out and see which type were needed and replace them.  I also explained that the dresser would be looked at by a professional wood repair person.  Ms. [redacted] said, "Again why would l have any one affiliated with your company come and do anything."  Those were her options considering the nature of the supposed damages.  Ms. [redacted] then asked for money for compensation.
