There are many inaccurate statements in her claim. [redacted] failed to provide adequate notice to move. She provided notice on 12/4/17 that she would be moving out on 12/30/17. It was discussed thoroughly with her that her security deposit would not be refunded and that the early termination fees...
applied but would be waived for her. She was informed verbally and by email that there were additional fees owed on top of her security deposit for cleaning and insufficient notice. She signed off on these fees upon move out. Our lease agreement specifically states on page 3 of the signed lease agreement, "Upon termination of tenancy here under property or money held by landlord as security may be applied to the payment of accrued rent and the amount of damages which the landlord has suffered by reason of resident's non compliance with this agreement." This means any money we hold as security can be applied to any rent or damages. In lieu of everything discussed [redacted] was refunded for the pet deposit minus any cleaning damages and the check was cut and refunded to the resident. In regards to correspondence with the Lawrence Group, email documentation provides responses given to Ms. [redacted] accordingly with her contact with [redacted] or The Lawrence Group.

Hi!—Can you please the change the status of this ticket? I initially said I was unsatisfied because I did not recieve a check from [redacted]. But I have received the check in the mail. I would like to close this complaint.Thank you!! [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I still have yet to recieve a check from [redacted]. I was notified two weeks ago they would be refunding my pet deposit. I’ve followed up on the status of the check with [redacted] and received no response.
