I normally don’t write reviews but for this office I MUST to make people awareI hadn't been to the dentist in over 1/years since I'm petrified of the dentistI noticed a small chip on my tooth and opted to get it checked outI did my research and I came across this dentist he had really good reviews and positive feedbackI called they accepted my insurance and booked me for an emergency appointment the next day at 2PMOn the day of my appointment I was stun by how old dated this office was and not only that but it was extremely dirtyOkay! I don’t judge a book by its coverThey took x-rays and I was seen by another dentist NOT *** *** I was told he was on LEAVEThe doctor told me I needed a ROOT CANALI’ve never had a root canal beforeSo I was literally in tears I’m so scared of the dentist but was concern as the doctor said if I didn’t take care of it I would lose my toothSo he had the receptionist come in and give me a brake down of the costSo according the receptionist my insurance (CIGNA) only covered 20% so I was entitled to pay $1,I’m still in distraught that I needed to get a root canal and all the horrible things I heard about the processI didn’t want to lose my tooth and without thinking I agreedThe doctor was nice and assured me that it wouldn’t hurtWhen I was done with the first stage they told me the next available appointment would be two weeks from that dateBefore I left I asked what would be the full price of a root canal without insurance, the receptionist quoted $1,At that point it didn’t make sense to meWhen I got home I contacted my insurance company and they were stun by the quote and informed me that I was only entitled to pay $After several calls my insurance company was able to get in contact with the officeThe receptionists called me back and seem bother that she had to give me a refunded she didn’t even apologize for that HUGE mistakeOn the second apportionment (STAGE 2) the same doctor completed the cleaning of the root canalI was seating in the office room for about min since he was finishing up with another clientI noticed the tools on the table were dirt and I asked the assistant if those tools were freshly newHe looked at me with disbelief how dare you? ask such questionI pointed out the dirt he said that’s how they are when we burn them with fireThe doctor came in and competed stage and stated that I needed (2) additional session to complete the processWhen I headed over to the front desk the receptionist handed me over my prescriptions and said your next appointment is in weeks from nowAt this point I was confused if I needed to come (2) additional times this root canal will be completed in monthsI asked why so long she said we have other peopleAnd I said “Will that is not good months to complete ONE root canal” and she said will it’s good for us because it’s good for businessI was completely stunned by her statementI just took my prescriptions and leftI noticed that the doctor on the prescriptions was DRWEISS and signed by himI was confused as to how when he was on leaveAt the pharmacy they had to contact the office because I was given the wrong prescriptionThis place is a mess and like my insurance agent stated “if I hadn’t called to check the charges the insurance company would of paid the $1,550, they would of pocketed a total of $3,for ONE root canal”That to me is insurance FRAUDI’ve made another appointment at another doctor’s office to check if the work completed was done correctly and if this root canal was really neededAnd I will be getting tested for potential disease every months due to my concern for those shady “Tools”This was a total NIGHTMARE please be careful
