The proposal of the work had the ib roof system PVC single ply to the area called a hog valley. I pulled a permit with the city of Newark and had two inspections, one deck inspection and a finial on the roof when it was done. The owner thought that it was done wrong, so I had the...
inspector come back out and he said that it was right. I called the manufacture of the ib roof system that I had installed and they looked at the project and it was roofed right. I have been trained and certified with ib roof systems to install there product. The owner dose not understand and I had the inspector talk to him. This is a new construction project that has been built by the owner and the city of Newark has had problems with the owner building his house not according to the building plans he had been approved. If the roof was not done properly then the city inspector would have called the roof like he has called the framing of his home done wrong. I have talked to the owner several times, my office manager has [redacted] has talked with him and the city many times and he dose not understand how to build or roof. [redacted] I have met with the homeowner at his house 4-5 times after the roof was complete, the last time I met him he had the contractor meet me there and his findings were, the area in question was installed properly, using the proper material in the hog valley, and he told the homeowner that the way he wanted that area to look was not possible to construct it that way. So I have gone the extra mile for this customer like we do for all customers. [redacted]

On July 19, I texted [redacted] the picture of area without shingles and called him. He said that will have someone to put shingles on it. Later, [redacted] called and said the rubble material IB is fine. And he does not change to Shingles. We came to the city inspection and addressed the problem to senior inspector. The inspector said either shingles or IB are in the code. He said the materials are up to us to select.
On the contract, we never agreed to replace shingles materials with rubble sheet. We paid for Shingles materials not a cheap rubble IB.
We spoke to our sister, [redacted]. My sister called and talked to [redacted]. she said [redacted] is rude and discriminate because we are Asian-American, Caucasian do not bargain. He is wrong even president Trump

hire other Chinese or Mexican roof contractors. It is the tricky business.
On Sep 16, a carpenter who also do roof installation talked to [redacted] at our house. The contractor told us that it is fine to put Shingles in the IB area now. There is slope.
