Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The area dug up by the water company to fix the leaks on their side started directly against the meter on their side and extended probably six feet out from the meter, they left the ground uneven and unseeded, having torn up our grassThis was not fixed! The grass has grown back some now since this was many weeks ago, however the ground is still uneven and we were told they would come out and fix and reseed the lawn right after they had torn it up, and they never actually didThe area is hard to push mow now where the ground is so uneven Furthermore, we had no leak or any problems until they came out and worked on their leaks on their side, we still believe the leak on our side was caused from their repairs done on the opposite side of the meterThey treat their customers badly and we have talked to many unsatisfied customers of theirs who have had problems with them as wellIt is my understanding they have been having financial issues, hopefully another company will take over this business soon and it will be ran correctly in the future Regards, [redacted] ***

I am enclosing pictures of the problem about which *** *** contacted your officeI have also enclosed a copy of the page of our water user agreement that every custom signsWhen you look at the pictures and read the agreement, you will see that his lines were improperly installedThe blue line is the one that we installed for himThe rest of the connections were Lawrence Water Corporation'sThey were installed by the customerThey are not the proper fittings
I know he says our contractor tore out his linesI have talked with the contractor and he says that he fixed a leak about ten feet away from *** *** meter on our sideHe said that if he had pulled the line too hard, it would have pulled loose on our side of the meter and not on the customer side
A few days ago, a member of the office staff took our contractor to pick up his dump truckThey were in the vicinity of the property in questionShe told me that the only mess in *** *** yard was the place he dug up to fix his leak
It board policy not to give any adjustments for leaks on the customer sideWe have to treat all customers the same and therefore cannot make an exception and give *** *** what he is requesting

I just don't know what else to tell you about this situationOur contractor says that he definitely did not pull the line looseAs I stated in my last response, the lady in this office took our contractor to get his truck one eveningShe says that the customer's yard is fine.I am sorry that the customer feels this wayThe Board of Directors have a policy in place that states that no partial payments can be made on customer accountsThey have made an exception to that rule for this customerI know he wants us to adjust his bill back to his average bill, but the fact remains that he had a leak on his sideBoard policy states that we cannot adjust any account that has had a leak.We buy our water from *** Water and if the water goes through the customer's meter, we have to charge this water to the customerI do not believe that some of our customers understand this.I hope that the customer will try to understand our position

This was not fixed! The grass has grown back some now since this was many weeks ago, however the ground is still uneven and we were told they would come out and fix and reseed the lawn right after they had torn it up, and they never actually did. The area is hard to push mow now where the ground is so uneven. 
Furthermore, we had no leak or any problems until they came out and worked on their leaks on their side, we still believe the leak on our side was caused from their repairs done on the opposite side of the meter. They treat their customers badly and we have talked to many unsatisfied customers of theirs who have had problems with them as well. It is my understanding they have been having financial issues, hopefully another company will take over this business soon and it will be ran correctly in the future.
