In responce to the customer complaint ID # [redacted]: When the work order was called in on Friday April 11, 2014 it was for burst galvinized pipe in a house used as a summer home. When the plumbers arrived they found that other kinds of pipes had burst also. They recommended to replumb all the pipes....

The home owner was told the water heater was leaking at the bottom and would need replaceing in the near future. We do not take items like a water heater to jobs that the homeowner does not specify they need one. The replumb was completed and the home owner was called from the office personal on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 4:l5PM and they were told the job was well done and they were pleased. The phone called was made prior to 15 minutes to closing. After closing hours on a Friday, April 11, 2014 the homeowner called the office and left a message he had no hot water. The office personal returned the call on Monday, April 14, 2014 and was told by the home owner that we should install a water heater at no charge to him. He also wanted a $200.00 refund. The office personal tried to reason with the home owner but the home owner became irate and talked over them and demanded a refund . I tried to satisfy the home owner and gave him a credit of 1/2 hour labor . The homeowner only became more angry so I told him I was sorry but our buiness transaction had ended and I was hanging up but that did stop the arguing. The home owner called the buiness phone repeatly 4 more times. The original bill for the work completed on Friday, April 11, 2014 was mailed that afternoon and the refund reciept was mailed on Monday, April 14, 2014.

Review: Lawson Plumbing sub-contracted local plumbers to re-plumb our house. In doing so the plumbers were stand offish with the costumer. Lied to the costumer about the pre-existing water heater. Did not finish the work and never checked the hot water before leaving the job site. I was promised on the phone that Lawson was responsible for all plumbing needs and that the job would be completed properly but Lawson simply told me it was my problem when the Hot Water heater didn't wok properly after the plumbers left the job site. After speaking with the Lawsons Plumbing 3 days later they told me it must be my problem and the plumbers told them that I had a faulty water heater and they would not come back to the work site. Lawson simply told me (with no offer of refund or return compensation for the poor work that they would send someone different out with an additional cost and check out the problem. They wanted to bill me double for the work they never actually finished. The sub contractor business is called [redacted] and Plumbing and they were just as guilty with not completing the work and lying about what they saw and did...The result from all of this run around and truly shotty work and communication is that I have to get a different plumber to install a water heater that the elements burnt out on and that (for some reason?) isn't taking in any water. I was given a verbal acknowledgment over the phone that $35 had been refunded to my credit card but again I have received no email or hard copy verification of this informationDesired Settlement: I would love a full refund of the labor costs (around$200) as I now must get someone else to install a water heater and look through the work that was done and re-plumb if neccessary
