Complaint has been settled thank you

There is nothing more I am willing to do for this customerWe have sent techs out a couple different times to correct issues and the customer has continued to fabricate things to try and get us to do work for freeNothing was stolen from the customer and the last time we were there was over a
month ago and they we satisfied with what we didI can not offer free services nor do I appreciate when the customer is not honest with usI'm sorry they were not happy with the work that our company did for them

The customer had a warranty for all the work doneInstead of telling us the problem was still not fixed and allowing us to come out and correct the problem at no cost to them they instead called someone else and dug up the pipeWe have many other ways to fix
problems without digging and the fact that they did not use the warranty that was provided to them leaves us with no way to clean the line for themWe did clean other lines for them of which they paid to have done with this same service visitThe rate that they were charged is for up to two hours of work regardless of whether one line or lines are addressedWe don't guaranty that the lines will be opened and we try to or best of our ability to clean the lines as much as possible and even up to 98% of their original capacity of that is possibleSince work was done and some lines were completely cleaned there is no reason for the customer to be refunded any monies because work was performed and lines were cleanedBut because the customer is not satisfied with that I am willing to credit them some of the money back for work that was doneThey will receive a check refund in the mail in the next couple weeks to a monthPlus we will be applying a credit to their account for future work

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.][MrRooter: The customer had a warranty for all the work done.] The technician who performed the work on 6/16/did not provide any paperwork. No warranty information, no receipt for the $he said was the cost of service. We did receive in the mail a bill from MrRooter indicating that we had paid the $521.00, but there was a balance of cents. Upon calling the office, the cent charge was voided. On the back of the bill we received, there is a Limited Service Warranty that states: “MrRooter warrants, to the extent stated herein, the plumbing repair service and drain cleaning services furnished by it. The stated period of warranty commences upon installation or repair of plumbing or upon cleaning of drains. Purchaser understands that MrRooter’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair, replacement, recleaning or refund of purchaser’s money, and does not extend to property damages resulting from drains which become clogged or obstructed or from plumbing work which fails during the agreed upon warranty period. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.” There is no indication of the “stated period of warranty” in terms of length of time. Therefore, because in less than days following the assurance from the technician and as stated on the paperwork received in the mail that drain pipes were working properly, when we found out that some were still obstructed/collapsed in ways that could not have occurred within those few days, we would appreciate receiving a “refund of purchaser’s money” based on that warranty.[MrRooter: Instead of telling us the problem was still not fixed and allowing us to come out and correct the problem at no cost to them they instead called someone else and dug up the pipe.]First, since it had been less than days since we were assured that the pipes were working properly, we needed to find out what “other source” could be causing the flooding. We hired a construction contractor to explore around our home to find the source. The contractor uses a subcontractor to inspect and run their camera through any drains they find. Upon the camera runs down the west side and east side drains from gutters, it was found that they were either obstructed or collapsed. When these were found, we called the MrRooter office and asked that someone come to the house to see what was found and to show that the work the technician stated had been performed could not have been. No one came. So the construction company continued on with the work to replace/repair drain lines with pvc pipe. Then we began making calls to MrRooter to request a refund of our money and to have the owner call us. It wasn’t until a few minutes after we submitted the Revdex.com complaint that Mr*** called. On the west side of the house two gutters guide rain water into separate drain pipes. Each of those drains was obstructed by old leaves, dirt, and fine tree roots which could not have built up in such a short time. These lines remain in the ground, and are now abandoned. Only a small portion was dug up to show the obstruction materials. New pvc drain pipe now carries the rain water from the west end of the house. On the east side of the house two gutters guide rain water. They join into one drain pipe. The subcontractor found that at a short distance under a sidewalk that had been installed in 2014, the drain pipe was crushed. There was no way that a cameracould get through. Actually, after some digging on the other side of the sidewalk, the subcontractor ran his camera down therest of the drain pipe, and found a hole in it several feet beyond the collapsed section. This same hole should have been found by the MrRooter technician if he had been able to get his camera through the collapsed portion. Also, this collapsed portion of the drain remains under the sidewalk since it was not dug up. A new pathway was made by augering under the sidewalk where the new pipe was installed[MrRooter: We have many other ways to fix problems without digging and the fact that they did not use the warranty that wasprovided to them leaves us with no way to clean the line for them.]The warranty allows for “refund of purchaser’s money.”[MrRooter: We did clean other lines for them of which they paid to have done with this same service visitThe rate that they were charged is for up to two hours of work regardless of whether one line or lines are addressedWe don't guaranty that the lines will be opened and we try to or best of our ability to clean the lines as much as possible and even up to 98% of their original capacity of that is possibleSince work was done and some lines were completely cleaned there is no reason for the customer to be refunded any monies because work was performed and lines were cleaned.]In addition to the west and east sides of the house, there are two gutters in the front/south side of the house that guide rain water into drain lines which join into a single line that empties onto the street at the curb. This line was open when the subcontractor ran his camera down it. We understand that MrRooter cannot guarantee that lines will be opened, and that they try to clean the lines as much as possible. However, if lines are found to be obstructed or collapsed, shouldn’t the technician acknowledge that and tell the client? The technician indicated that everything was fine, that all lines were “working properly.” With what was found upon inspection by the subcontractor and the contractor we hired, the technician could not have “camerad” and hydroscrubbed all drain pipes, because three drain pipes were either obstructed or collapsed. If he had been able to get past the collapse, he would have found a hole further down the line from the gutters on the east side of the house.[MrRooter: But because the customer is not satisfied with that I am willing to credit them some of the money back for work that was doneThey will receive a check refund in the mail in the next couple weeks to a monthPlus we will be applying a credit to their account for future work.]We did receive a check in the mail for $175.00. However, because there were two drains from the west gutters, one drainfrom the east gutters, and one drain from the front/south gutters, we believe we should receive three-fourths of the money refunded under the warranty. Three drains were obstructed/collapsed, one drain was open. That would be a total of $to be refunded out of the $paid to MrRooter. Applying a credit to our account for future work cannot be considered a refund of purchaser’s money, and we would not use it anyway. We will look forward to a second check in the amount of $to resolve our complaint and fulfill the warranty
