*** ***

I am in receipt of the above-referenced complaint. Due to confidentiality obligations, I am somewhat limited in my ability to respond to the complaint. However, I can confirm that this firm (which was...

formerly known as Layfield & Wallace) did represent Ms. [redacted] up until the time that she terminated our attorney-client relationship. We have no information that Ms. [redacted]’s case was closed by an adjuster for Ralph’s Market. We know only that, prior to Ms. [redacted] firing this law firm, all information required to present and advocate for her claim was timely provided to the adjuster with whom we were in contact and communications with that adjuster were active and continuing.
It appears Ms. [redacted]’s frustration is that she has been billed by the chiropractor who treated her after her accident, Dr. [redacted]. We have not been provided any bills or account information related to Ms. [redacted] by Dr. [redacted]’s office, so we have no first-hand information concerning the bill Ms. [redacted] disputes. The assertion that [redacted] at this officer “passed the bill” to Ms. [redacted] is inaccurate. We received no such bill to pass to her, and Ms. [redacted] has never spoken to or corresponded with Ms. [redacted].

Although we have no knowledge of or involvement in the chiropractic billing to which Ms. [redacted] objects, we would like to assist her if possible. Therefore, I will be calling Dr. [redacted]’s office to request that it consider waiving Ms. [redacted]’s bill. If we are successful at obtaining such a waiver from Dr. [redacted]’s office, I will write you and Ms. [redacted] to confirm that.

Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions about this matter.

Best regards,

[redacted]

Following up on my email yesterday afternoon, I have received confirmation (attached) that Dr. [redacted]’s office is waiving [redacted]’s bill in its entirety and closing out her account. Please inform Ms. [redacted] that she has no further financial responsibility for the chiropractic care she received related to her case. Please confirm that this consumer complaint has been resolved adequately and is being closed out with no further action by the Revdex.com.
Thank you.

Dear Mr [redacted]
Thank you for informing of the status of Ms [redacted]'s case.
It will not be a problem. I will let my office know that due to patient's financial difficulty we will waive our bill for the services that were rendered to her. Thank you for all your help.
