Lazy Parrot Grill

On my 21st birthday I along with my boyfriend decide to go to Lazy Parrot to celebrate and have some drinksI ran into a friend of mine that was already at the bar and she suggest I drink what she is drinkingI go to have a sip and the bartender yells and says I need your id, which is totally acceptableI kindly tell her as a proud year old "of course your May see my id"Now I am not sure as maybe she took that in a smart way but then she looks at my id and says "today is January 18th?" I look at her and simply just say "i don't know you tell me" I had to show her my phone with the date read loud in clear to make aware of the dateEven with friend I ran into was telling me happy birthday, right at the barMy boyfriend comes to the bar and ask what I was having to drink and I explained what happenShe then ask for his idHe shows her and she said she can't serve himHer reason for not serving him was because the id was expiredWe look at his id and notice it does not expire until He then politely explains to her that his id is not expiredShe then looks at the id and says there is a crack in it and it's in validAt this point you could plain out and see that she did not want to serve us for whatever reasonMay I add, yes he did have a crack in his id but it was however at the very top of the Virginia license but all numbers on id were visibleAt this point we were completely disgusted with the bar and leftAs leaving her and my boyfriend had words due to me asking her who was he manager of this barShe was yelling saying she was the managerI asked for the owners info and she declined to give it to meI along with all my friends I was meeting took our business else whereI along with my boyfriend didn't have a problem at any other bar with our id's in CharlottesvilleI then take it upon myself to look up the abc laws for an idNo where does it state anything about a cracked idOver I would never suggest anyone to go to this barIt is by far awful and needs a new staff
