Failed to negotiate
My wife and I found a used unit that we like that was on what they called clearance, which means nobody else wanted it. When we looked at the unit, we found some safety concerns and food still in the refrigerator and that was it. When we returned, we found someone had broken the mirror in the bedroom since our original inspections. We told the salesman that we wanted the unit but repairs to the mirror and rim would need to be done. This was a $200,000 dollar unit and we were told that they don't fix cosmetics and that the price was nonnegotiable. I talked to the manager this evening, Anthony Smith and he pretty much told me that cosmetics are not something they fix and the price was set in stone. I explained that the mirror wasn't broke when we first made offers and his response was pretty much "Oh Well" here at Lazy Days we don't negotiate. I told him that there are hundreds of Motor Homes out there for sale, but at Lazy Days they believe a buyer will come along any second.

Purchased a used unit from the Tampa Florida location and before we could leave with the unit we were told they needed to check the unit over and would take about 2 to 3 hours. My wife and I left to go and have lunch and returned later that afternoon. We were told everything was looked over and unit was totally road ready for our first trip as an RV owner.
I noticed on the test drive that the more the brakes were used there was a more severe shake in the steering wheel and I stated to the sales person don't they look at the brakes when they take a unit in on trade and his response was absolutely. He said they check the units from top to bottom to make sure everything is in safe and operating condition. After leaving with our RV and getting out on a main highway it was noticed that there was a vibration in the wheels so I decided to have the tires balanced. upon having the wheels balanced it was brought to my attention that the rear brakes were metal to metal and that the brake calipers were seized up on both sides of the rear. Had brakes repaired and went to Lazy days and brought it to there attention how upset me and my wife were about letting us leave in a unit that was not safe for use at the time. I received a phone call from the used RV sales manager clearly stating they had dropped the ball and that the unit had never been checked over as we were told it was. I still have the voice mail on my phone as of today and will not erase it. Went to the Tampa location were we purchased it from and ended up speaking with Scott T[redacted] the director of sales at lazy days RV and he assured me and my wife that we would be reimbursed for the repairs done to the brakes that there establishment totally neglected to check. As of today 04/30/2016 we have recieved nothing and heard from no one about this matter. We purchased our Unit 03/12/2016 and I can HONESTLY SAY I would never ever do business with this establishment ever again so as they say BUYER BEWARE this company seeks to take your money and send you out the door in unsafe and not road worthy vehicles.

[redacted]WARNING[redacted].Camp at your own risk. Power variations. Melted my plug and they blamed the electricity department. Told me I had to file a claim with the electricity department. I did not rent from the electricity department. I rented from lazy days. 4 hours after reporting the issue and arguing with them they finally brought me a new end for my power cord they melted and said I would have to put it on myself. I advised I do not do that. I have no experience. They said no one was still around that could and wanted me to wait till morning. Well, I guess if I were going to stay, I would have to run my generator all night. We left. There is no way I would plug up with them again. Could have burnt our $150,000 coach with my family in it. Worst customer service I have ever seen at a campground. Rude from day 1 to day 6. We left early. I have audio all telephone coversations with the front desk telling men from the beginning, they were having problems. I have all audio of the Lazydays RV Dealership Supervisor giving me a hard time on the phone. I would say this is common practice for them. Should have weighed the odds. $10 melted part replaced and installed for customer who paid good money to stay in our park and damaged customers property= Happy customer. Rather, blame someone else, tell customer to file a claim with innocent party, make them mad and loose them for life and cause them to tell everyone they come in contact with, do not buy from their dealership or stay at their campground. Doesn't make good business sense. This says a lot about who they are and what they stand for as a company. Your going to leave a customer stranded with not power. BTW, my plug melted so much, their was a quater size hole in the side. They sould pay the cost of installing the end and refund my last day wasted arguing over something totally fixable. Guess where we will not be buying our next coach?

Warning!! Do not buy from LazyDays
