I am writing this letter regarding a service I received from LB Small Engine Repair.
My account number with LB Small Engine Repair is invoice ***
6/10/2020 I took my like new red framed/trimmed generator in for servicing I received a call on 7/23/2020 stating my generator was ready I paid for the repairs they rolled out a raggedy blue trimmed generator that definately was not mine my generator had disappeared from the shop and they would not refund my $206.41 that I was charged for repairs I want my generator the one that I brought to them
I paid $206.41 for this service. Payment was made in cash.
I contacted Justin W on July 25, 2020, and explained that the service was unsatisfactory. I informed him that was not my generator they tried to convince me that it was He said he did not have a generator for me and they would not refund my $206.41 Failure to receive an appropriate response to this problem has prompted me to write directly to you.
On July 25, 2020, I contacted Southaven Police Dept. and explained that the service was unsatisfactory. I paid for service on a generator that disappeared from their facility I lost a like new generator plus the fee for the repairs on something that I don't have
I would appreciate your assistance in resolving my complaint. I would like to receive a full refund from LB Small Engine Repair of the full cost of the service in the amount of $206.41.
Enclosed are copies of my records, including receipts when purchased receipt for repairs

I have reviewed security footage of the drop off and pick up of
* generator. The drop generators appear to be the same. The serial numbers on the generator that I attempted to return to*** matches the serial number that was written on the drop off ticket. I had only one red generator in my shop which was dropped off several months before*** visited our shop. She insisted it was hers, but it is not. I have called *** to see if they ever made a red generator and was told they only have blue and gray generators. I have looked through all of my work reports for other equipment to make sure that I did to make a mistake and switch up *** generator but cannot find that anything like that happened. I have offered to give her a refund of $206.41 which is what she paid for repairs, but she is not satisfied with that. She wants me to return a generator to her that we do not have and never had in our possession.
Consumer's Rebuttal
This company has caused me a lot of pain and aggreration every time it storms I get nervous and very upset. I think this was a hate crijme this should be classifed as a hate crime whether it be against a senior citize or a person of color.
It sickens me to the core knowing these people blatantly misplaced my genrator and tried everything to convince me that I was mistaken about what kind of generator that I had brought in for servicing. It seems that they have done this before to other customers. This did not matter to the Judge he couldn't see past color, I said I know my generator was red, they said blue. I know what I had my witnnesses written statements meant nothing to him.
0 STARS WOULD FIT BETTER!! My husband took his $3000 air compressor here for the motor to be fixed. After not hearing from them for months he called to find out what was going on they informed him they where still looking for parts and they would call when they found them to let him know how much it would cost to fix (in August). So here it is January and he called today to see what was going on. They informed him that they no longer had it!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! NOT ONLY DOES IT LOOK LIKE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING(COULDNT FIND PARTS) BUT THEY WILL GET RID OF YOUR PROPERTY WITHOUT YOU KNOWING!!!
