When I picked up my silk blouse on 9/14/14, there were several small tears under the armpit The company took it upon themselves to have the set in deodorant stains removedWhich I appreciate but in the process they over worked the fabric and torn it When I picked it up there was an itemized description of cleaning that had written on it "sorry"
The manager said that since the silk blouse that they torn was unrepairable, they would reimburse me the amount to replace it She stated would pass the claim along to the GM and owner since the amount was greater than she was authorized to give After 1/weeks I called the GM, regarding the matterHe stated that the check would be ready for me to pick up 10/1/after 1:00pm and would be in the amount of $ When I got there the gentleman I was told to ask for regarding the check had no idea what I wa

Dropped off my European down comforter at Shaffer dry cleaning on January 15,to have dry cleaned for the first timeIt was a present from my husband for x-mas so it was not even a month old he purchased it from Costco For $+ taxwhen I got my comforter back which was late I was supposed to pick it up on January 19,after 4;pm they said it wasn't ready.when I called the next morning around 10:00am on 1/20/they told me it still was not ready but it would be in the next hour from thenSo I went around 1:pm on 1/20/to pick my comforter up I paid $Went home and immediately opened up the dry cleaning package and pulled out the comforter and immediately knew it was not my comforter but wanted to wait for my husband to get home to make sure I wasn't over reactingWe called Shaffer's and said no manager was there unt
On Monday March I went to Shaffer laundry to retrieve my clothesWhen I dropped them off, shirts and docker style shorts, I was told that the shorts would be dry cleaned and the shirts would be launderedI told them I wanted creases on the shorts and the shirt sleevesOnly one pair of shorts had creases and everything looked to be laundered only and yet they charged me dry cleaning on all shortsof the shorts were hung on the hangers flat open and all othe shirts had no crease on the sleevesThis business has gotten to a new low of charging customers for services they didn't provideTo anyone choosing a dry cleaner, I strongly suggest you avoid this placeA total rip of!
