Complaint Information:
text-align: left;" valign="top"> First of all when digging a foundation you must first dig it big enough to work in. Its standard procedure to dig three or feet bigger on each side so that men have room to place concrete forms and work safely in the area. No one worked on this property for me that was unlicensed. Mr. did hire additional people to excavate the property with out calling before you dig. These contractors dug up the property creating more work for the my company to clean up. The property was a complete mess. In order to complete my job the property had to be excavated and graded all over again. Mr. [redacted] refused to pay for any banks that fell in during the 1 year delay or any extras associated with the job. On this job my company lost 11,500 on additional cost. Secondly "when calling before you dig", The street was mark for locations of sewer and water. According to "call before you dig", the water and sewer was suppose to be located in the driveway easement. Nor water or sew was located where they were mapped or marked. Therefore the neighbors sewer and water was broken. This was an unfortunate and unforeseen issue that happed during excavation. The pipes Since the time of the issue was late and I couldn't leave the neighbor. I fixed the pipes that were broken the same day because I couldn't leave the neighbor without water and sewer. Mr. [redacted] refused to pay for the unforeseen repairs. The result from the water and sewer problems then caused the neighbor's to file a complaint to the city building department. The city then put a "stop work order" on the project until the water and sew line get moved into the easement which is where it was suppose to be in the first place. That issue was between Mr. [redacted] and his neighbor. I was not allowed to work there until the neighbors settle the problem. Finally when Mr. [redacted] and his neighbor worked out the sewer and water issues. Mr. [redacted] called one year later to finish the job. At the time I was 4 mouths back logged with other commitments from other costumers. I told him he would have to wait until I fulfilled my obligations with the other costumers. I didn't have idea when Mr. [redacted] was going to be able to restart this project. I understand that Mr. [redacted] is not happy with the time and issues that came with the job. But it wasn't my fault that he bought a property that had so many unforeseen issues that were beyond any of our control. Thru is all I am working with Mr. [redacted] to resolve the issues. It is my business to do everything in my power to make sure everyone of my costumers are satisfied. I have contacted the building department order to resolve the issues that are associated with this project.
