I was charged a late fee of $28.00 on my account on 8/25/20....... despite no email warning or update of insuficient funds.....DESPITE BEING SIGNED UP FOR BALANCE ALERTS........ALSO....THE funds were available in my total balance in a " got change account" that I was unaware is apparently off limits
although I was NEVER given any information on what this account was actually for....so I assumed it was available money to be used........ so I want my $28.00 back with an apology from the company and manager ***.
I’m sorry you ended up involved with the complaint. Mr. only had $18.20 in his account when a $61.71 automatic payment tried to clear. The payment was returned and he was charged a $28.00 NSF fee. We had already waived two NSF $28.00 fees this month.
I have attached both the checking account disclosure that he signed and the Got Change form that he signed. Both clearly state the basics of the account and that there would be a $28.00 NSF fee. The Got Change form clearly states that we won’t transfer funds from this account for overdrafts.
He was on the phone for over 10 minutes yelling at our Office Manager and using some choice words. The fees won’t be reversed.
