Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I want things to be perfectly clear since Lee seems to think I can't communicate clearly. I drove the truck to the place of business and the hours on the door said they were open until 3pm yet all doors were locked. I contacted him by phone about my mom's truck needing to be fixed. First of all, regardless of who the owner is I contacted the business and I was the one financially responsible for the repairs therefore all communication up until Sunday should have went through me (I left town on Sunday). I asked if he was open and he said "I could be". I told him what needed to be fixed and he said he needed to jump in the shower, get his hair cut and then he would meet me at the shop at 2pm. If your business hours state you are open should you not be there unless there was an emergency? Clearly getting a shower and hair cut are not emergencies. He told me to meet him at the shop. That is not dropping off a vehicle. I agree the work was completed that he states was completed but the way the business is being ran is shady. I went to the shop at 1:50pm and waited over 1 hour and no one showed up. I called, left messages and no reply. My sister works for Lee and heard of the troubles I was having and said she would call him and have him call me. That didn't happen. I had to call again and he then said he thought I was dropping it off. Some of Lee's remarks in his reply are down right lies. My mom never apologized to him and stated she didn't know about the Revdex.com complaint. My sister might have because she works for him and I never told her I was filing a Revdex.com complaint. It's none of her business. Lee did not return the keys, his wife did and had my mom sign a piece of paper stating the keys were returned. Lee also does not answer about taking the truck up to his house. It was not agreed upon to work on the truck at his house. Again, Lee completed the work but he needs to do business a little better than he does even though it's a small town. If the hours of operation are a current time then the business should be open during that time. If someone brings in a vehicle to repair then the business should only communicate with that person unless otherwise stated. If you want to keep building a business than stop doing business so shady.
At this time the keys were returned (although we have no idea if duplicates were made so a police report was filed) and all said repair was done to the best of my knowledge as the air conditioner works at this time. $50 was the agreed upon price of the repair so if the charges should have been higher than don't quote a price until the work is completed.
Sincerely,[redacted]

In response to Ms. [redacted] complaint. I would apologize for miss communication as I did think her vehicle was being dropped off for repairs since it was a Saturday. In my defense I did work on the vehicle on Sunday after I found out they needed it back promptly. The request for service was recharge...

a/c unit. I explained that I would do that and check unit and let them know if anything else was wrong with it that needed to be fixed, again this being a weekend and parts are not available. When the vehicle was dropped off in front of my shop the keys were left in the vehicle on the street. I did move the vehicle around to the side of my shop off the sidewalk and placed the keys in the floor board during the day. I was planning on returning and moving it into the shop for the night but Ms. [redacted] came and took the vehicle. [redacted] returned the vehicle to me on Sunday for repairs and further explained to me that the vehicle repairs should be delt only with himself and his wife. When I returned the vehicle at 7:30 am on Monday I explained that I charged the a/c unit and replaced a relay switch. I also explained that the vehicle needed a new a/c pump and that the pump was leaking in the rear from last years repair at another shop. I unfortunately did misplace the vehicles set of keys later finding them exactly where they were supposed to be but had been covered up by something else. I apologize for any inconvenience this caused Mrs [redacted] the owner of the vehicle. I did return the original keys to her on 8-10-2016.  I would like to state also that Ms. [redacted] mother and sister her mother being the owner of the vehicle apologized to me and explained they had no knowledge of this complaint. I completed the work asked and diagnosed the vehicle and only charged them $50.00. Miss communication was a definate issue here but I feel the service request was more than fulfilled. Diagnostic testing alone is normally $95.00. This complaint was received in the mail on August 9, 2016.
