Le Caprice Paris Reviews (3)

Very concerned about our order delivery. We were sold the facial lift product and various other items but have not received the stuff we were shown at the shop. We paid $22k for what appears to be loti9ns and creams from forever flawless at an extortionate price and not send the products that were demonstrated on us. Beware. I am not sure how to get this resolved

Review: On December 26 and 29, 2014, I purchased Forever Flawless beauty set products at Le Caprice Paris store located at Level 2 of The Oaks Mall, 350 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360.I purchased the products in a controlled, well-orchestrated, bait and switch, intimidation type selling of the sales representatives. At both times, they made me to believe that they are the sole distributor of the Forever Flawless products in the US, the products were limited editions, and are highly sought after by their clients in New York, Manhattan, and Hamptons. They claimed that the Forever Flawless products are not available elsewhere. They claimed that with consistent, routine based use of the products for 2 years, the effect will last for 10 years or more without using any more products which is, as they claimed, better than Botox in which results last for only 2-3 years after treatment. They claimed that Forever Flawless products do not have an expiration date. When I inquired about their policy in case the products and/or results are unsatisfactory, they stated: We will take care of you. There was no refund policy posted conspicuously at any counters, cashier, nor storefront. And, I was not given a receipt at point of sale because they claimed their cashier tape machine was broken. Receipts were emailed only after I followed up.All products were scheduled to be shipped out on January 7, 2015. Days after the store visit and purchase, I felt anxious about a couple of things:1)There was no means to get more information, no company website, and no customer service to contact.2)Looking back at how the sales presentation and hasty transaction took place with no receipt at point of sale as well as the volume of products sold to me unnerved me and, the fact theres no customer service, raised my suspicions.3)My skin broke out a few days after the facial theyve done during sales presentation.4)There was no confirmation about the contents of the package they are shipping and I did not receive any tracking number even when asked.I did my research and found out most of the sales promises were misleading:1)Expiration date for opened products is 1 year and unopened for 2 years.2)Le Caprice is not the sole distributor of the Forever Flawless. Forever Flawless is an independent company and Le Caprice is a franchise.3)The company, Forever Flawless, offers a 14-day full refund for unused, unopened products. Le Caprice, at the point of purchase, did not conspicuously post their return or refund policy in store. When asked, I did not receive a direct answer. And, at the same time, there is no website to get information either.4)Based on Forever Flawless company site, effect of products is based on continued use. Le Caprice stated that results will last for 10 years or more after 2 years of continued use is misleading. 5)Their claim that the diamond dust penetrate deep into the skin so results last for more than 10 years or more after 2 years of continued use has no accepted proof.I called to cancel the shipment on January 5, 2015 and discussed the matter with Revi Agi, who claimed to be the store supervisor, customer service, and co-owner of Le Caprice. However, Revi Agi stated that they cannot cancel the order and the shipment. Further, she stated that regardless if we cancel the order, return the products mid-shipment, and they get back their products, they will continue to charge for the full amount. Considering the following:1)Order was cancelled two days prior scheduled shipment date.2)All products they claim to have shipped were returned to Le Caprice mid-shipment. Package and products were never touched, and never opened.3)Le Caprice did not fully disclose their return and refund policy even when asked and they did not have a return and refund policy signage posted conspicuously in their store front or cashier.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the purchase amount of $10,754.50 on my Chase credit cards ending in [redacted] and [redacted] to include any interest incurred.
