I purchased a kitten from this breeder on 12/16/14. The kitten died 8 days later from a mutated virus that she had contracted from her cattery. The breeder refuses to communicate with me now since the autopsy has resulted in the kitten dying from FIP. The doctor that performed the autopsy says that the kitten contracted FVoP from the breeder and that the virus mutated into FIP before I got her. She was not a healthy kitten as promised in the contract. I paid $650 for this kitten in addition to an 8 hour commute just to pick her up. Regardless of all the emails full of lies, [redacted] was in breach of contract. She stated in her[redacted].com that the kitten showed symptoms and wasn't eating for more than 7 days, but failed to take her to the vet within the 72 hours as my contract states. She had the necropsy done by an uncertified pathologist. My contract states the necropsy must be done by a certified veterinary pathologist. He was/is not. He is not a doctor as she states either. His report states that he is a DVM, which he is not. There is no proof that the kitten was mine. The pictures do not have accession numbers on them either. I asked her for a proof of death by picture. She refused to send me proof. She told me that my contract doesn't specify that she needs to do that. I have all her emails. The veterinarian that she told me she used for years and years never even heard of her. She is a scammer trying to get a free kitten. She gave me the name and number of the vet she was taking the kitten to on December 29th, [redacted]. I called that vet's office and she never made an appointment or brought her in. That office does necropsies and is licensed and certified to do them. She stated that I ruined her children's Christmas because they never got to meet the kitten. Another lie. She brought two small children with her to pick up the kitten. She can take me to court.
