Review: Purchased dress for my son's wedding from this company on July 27, 2013, did not get the dress till October 18th and then ended up not being able to wear the dress because of damage they did when steamed the dress, and alteration was not good at all, beads were falling out and dress alteration uneven. I would not recommend this place to anyone, very disappointed.Desired Settlement: Paid $1005.04 for the dress and could not wear it the way it was.

On July 27, 2013 [redacted], [redacted] purchased a gown from our boutique, for an upcoming October 15,2013 event, this purchased included the following:

• Dress (order based on her measurements as compared to the designers size chart}

• Custom Sleeve (3/4 past elbow with matching lining to dress)

• Shipping

• Tax

On September 21, 2013 [redacted]. [redacted] came into the boutique for her first alteration consultation. When she tried the gown on and was very happy with the gown. Once we began to discuss the price of alterations ($280.00) [redacted]. [redacted] began to state how she was told alteration would be included In the price she paid when she order the gown. I explained, as stated on the invoice she signed, alterations are always a separate charges. [redacted], [redacted] made a deposit of $100 toward the alteration cost and agreed that she will pay the balance of $180.00 at her 2nd fitting, scheduled for October 5, 2013. When [redacted], [redacted] returned for her second fitting on 10/05/2013 she paid the balance for the alteration ($180.00) and at that time seamstress decided to also purchase a bra wear with the gown.

[redacted]. [redacted] picked her gown up from alterations after her final fitting on October 17,2013 at 4pm. [redacted], [redacted] tried on her gown, stood in front of a large 3-way mirror, inspected the gown and approved the final alteration before signed and picked up,

October 30,2013 [redacted]. [redacted] came into the boutique very upset complaining about several large stains on the front skirt of the gown. We told her Le Star by Angels was not responsible for the condition of the merchandise after it left our store, and since [redacted]. [redacted] had the dress in her possession for almost two weeks. However, to make our customers happy we send her dress out for spot treatment at no charge as a courtesy but did explained to her that we cannot guarantee that those spots will come out.

November 2,2013 [redacted]. [redacted] returned to pick up the gown we insisted she try the gown on and tack it over before she signed it and pick up. [redacted]. [redacted] proceeded to become irate insisting that we do something to remove a tiny obscure stain. We reminded her we were doing this spot treatment as a favor to her and we did our best but there was a small stain which the cleaner could not remove. [redacted]. [redacted] began to get very loud and disrespectful to the staff at Le Star by Angels, We concluded there was nothing more we could do and asked her sign stating she had picked up the dress.

As stated in our policy, which is located on the back of every invoice as well as explained at the time of purchase, all sales are final. Le Star by Angels is not responsible for items once they have left the boutique. We encourage all patrons to check their purchases before leaving as to address any concerns they may have prior to signing the release form. All to say, we respect [redacted]. [redacted] as a customer and tried diligently to resolve her issues because we value all of our customers but our policy is firm.

After her attempt to do a charge back with her credit card company was not successful, they agreed with us that she had the dress in her possession for almost two weeks and anything could have happen to the dress while she tried on at home or wore it to a function. This is what has prompted [redacted]. [redacted] to seek damages with the Revdex.com.
