In response to complaint # ***, Mr*** did infact trade in his Escalade on October 23rd 2017, we processed his paperwork and fedex’d it to his county clerk November 3rd 2017, He was notifed serveral times to go to his DMV to process his title work and finally on January 29th
our check for his paperwork cleared the bank and we received funds on his account for the vehicle he purchased on February 1st in the amount of $55,000.00. Mrs*** bought a GM Certified Pre-owned Terrain from Leachman Buick GMC in July This vehicle was traded for by us June at the time we traded for it, we asked the customer, as we always do, "Has your vehicle had any previous damage or been involved in an accident?" The customer replied
"No"We also at that time ran a car fax report that validated his reply, showing no previous damage. In September 2017, Mrs*** was told by *** *** insurance in Leitchfield that her vehicle indeed had a claim in excess of $7,in May of Mrs*** then notified us about the news in September We again ran a *** report and it still shows no previous damageMrs*** has driven the vehicle approximately 16,miles between purchase date of July and September 2017, trouble freeWhen Mrs*** purchased the Terrain in July 2016, she traded in a Dodge Dart is which she had approximately $2,in negative equity, which was financed into her loan on the TerrainShe paid $21,less traplus taxes & license fees for the Terrain in July We had absolutely no way to know about the previous accidentBefore selling it to Mrs*** a thorough GM Certified inspection was performed by our dealership and no evidence of previous damage was spotted. So, as a gesture of goodwill, we offered Mrs*** a brand new Terrain just like her (which now has 36,miles on it) for the same original purchase price of $21,She would finance the difference for months, as her original loan was for and her payment would increase by approximately $per monthShe flatly said "NO"She asked for a Terrain like the one she owned and for full Credit on the payments she already had paid, Basically, she wanted to be able to have driven her current Terrain at NO Charge for the months of ownership, We said "no"She then launched a vicious *** campaign against us with statements, calling us liars, shady, etcI met with Mrs*** the week of October 2" and offered her a Terrain, GM Certified, like the one she has except different color, with only 19,milesat the same payment she currently has and on month financing not that she currently hasWith the stipulations, she issues in depth apologies on ***, and no director indirect reference to our dealership or any employee or and social media for yearsShe said "No"At this point, we will make no further offers to Mrs*** the damage she caused on *** cannot be undone and we want no contract any further with Mrs***

Response:
The customer saw an ad on TV from a National GMC commercial, not our dealership, for a $lease on a GMC TerrainThe promotion is not in the Southeast Region, which we are a part ofThe customer called us and said "I saw an ad on TV, if I buy from you can you match it"We said "Yes
we can match it" without knowing the details of the offerThe customer came in and explained to us what they saw, and after some research, we found it was NOT a promotion in our region and we indeed could not match itIf we did we would lose approximately $2,We apologized and offered to reimburse them for their expenses and timeThey declined and demanded we match itWe did not match it and after a while they left the dealershipThey sent an email to our dealership, and as the General Manager I called them to discussI explained everything to them again, and again offered to reimburse them any reasonable expenses for their time and fuelShe declined and demanded I honor the National TV offerI declinedThey continue to bash us on social media, ectI will not offer to reimburse them anything at this timeThey are very unreasonable people, and even if I were to honor the deal they still would not be happyThey were at the dealership for 2-hours because they refused to leave until we honored the dealI would prefer to NOT have them as customers at all at this pointThey would never be happyI am very sorry we didn't due diligence to investigate the offer prior to their arrival, and I told her that several timesBut at this point I am done with them*** *** *** *** **%
