After several shingles blew off my roof a while back in a storm, I was told by a "general contractor" that I needed a complete, new roof. Someone I work with had Mike repair her roof previously and gave me his name and number. He returned my call immediately, came by that afternoon to inspect my roof and advised me that it was just a few shingles that needed to be repaired. He was back within the next day or two to replace the original few shingles. While replacing those, he found a few others should be replaced. He did this all for the original quote. I have not had any problems at all. He is honest, reputable and does great work. I have referred him to several folks who have all be extremely pleased. I know a complete new roof is on the horizon for me at some point. I know exactly the folks I will call to have the work done when the time comes!

As with all roofing issues, they never show up until its raining really hard. And when they do, all roofers and roofing companies are busy and sometimes hard to connect with. My roof leak reappeared a couple of weeks ago with the high winds and hard rains we had, and I was quite surprised, after trying to contact several roofing companies, that Mike answered my first call.
I have had other roofing companies look at my roof leak ( an roof area where chimney, valley and a lower metal roof intersect) with no real successes to speak of. Mike initially told me that he had already received several calls that morning, and that he probably wouldn't be able to come look at my leak the same day. I told him I understood and he said he would call me back and let me know when he could come by - I agreed and hung-up. Surprise #2 was when, two hours later, Mike called and said he could come by and look at my roof. Mike came and brought his repair guy (Terry) and looked at my roof. He proposed a solution and said that he would need to price it and get back with me. I talked with Mike later in the day and he gave me a price that I thought was very fair and we agreed on a schedule for later in the week.
Surprise #3 - I had to order some new shingles for the repair and when they came in, I asked Mike if he would be able to pick them up and he did (Wow). Terry showed up with the shingles on the appointment day and very meticulously started looking for the leak issues. Terry discovered a few things that weren't done right with the original installation and corrected them. Terry also cemented and caulked around the chimney and filled any cracks that he found and when he left, he didn't say, "Good luck", he said, "Call me if you have any problems."
Now, I'm not ready to claim complete success just yet because with this last rain, we had a much much smaller leak, but I called Mike and Terry came back out an adjusted some flashing and added more cement and caulk. We let his new work set up for a while and then tested it with a water hose and so far, no leaks.
I can't impress how refreshing it is to work with a company that will answer your call or message, do what they tell you they'll do and stand behind their work. I can't recommend them any higher and both Mike and Terry are top notch folks. You won't go wrong talking with them.
