l signed up for the weekend paper at the [redacted] and never got a paper and have been billed twice and have filed 3 complaints even quit and have asked for a refund and now have taken another payment causing NSF on my chequing account .l ve asked the money all to be returned and a call back to verify what action has been taken and NOTHING !! l am more than willing to prove what payments were taken along with the NFS fee from said account. I disagree with the policy of The Leader Post that you have to be a subscriber to the newspaper in order to be a subscriber to the TV Times.I began subscribing to The Leader Post several years ago because at that time, their weekly TV Times magazine was a free insert in the Saturday paper. one or maybe two years ago, the decided that it would become a separate entity that people would have to subscribe to and pay for separately if they wanted to get it. I did decide to subscribe and also kept my subscription to the newspaper. Recently my husband and I decided that we no longer wished to subscribe to the newspaper because we rarely have time to read it and it just goes straight into the recycle bin. I phoned today to cancel the subscription and was informed that if I wanted to continue to receive the TV Times, I have to subscribe to The Leader Post as well. I see no valid reason for this. The newspaper and magazine come separately and the magazine is specifically labelled with my name and address. Also, it is a separate charge for this in addition to what is charged for the newspaper. I am being charged 30.98/month for the newspaper and am not quite sure how much the TV Times subscription costs. I have no problem with paying for the TV Times, I just do not want the Leader Post subscription and should not be forced to subscribe in order to buy the TV Times subscription.Business Response [redacted]There are two ways to acquire our TVTimes publication; as a subscriber you have the option to add this product to your Leader-Post subscription or as a single copy purchaser you can purchase a Friday Leader-Post from a newsdealer which includes the TVTimes. If this customer doesn't want to subscribe to the Leader-Post they can chose the option of buying a single copy Friday edition.
