I have received poor customer service on several occasions by different representatives... Managers defend the Representatives actionsSince July of last year I have had nothing but poor customer service from Leaders Credit UnionI have been treated poorly because my credit is now less than perfect and they do not want to take the time to work with me to resolve my concerns.. I have had several less than pleasant experiences with different representative in different depts, I have spoken with managers about this and each time the manager offers no solution only defends the inappropriate actions of the employee which is Unacceptable!!! I have tried even spoke with the Regional VP of the Credit Union and she yet again defended the action of the Representative.. All the Call are recorded and she offered to let me listen to the calls I do not need to listen to the calls I was on the call I know how I was treated and I was in shock that she was defending that kind of Member Service... When I representative tells you that you can take your business elsewhere to me this is not appropriate Customer Service I do not care how difficult the customer is to deal with, I work In CS and if I was to tell a patient that I would not have a job the next day, but apparently the VP does not see anything wrong with this kind of behavior... Also there was another phone call when I called in to speaking with them about payments that I had fallen behind on and the Gentleman I spoke to informed me that I do not get to pick and choose what I pay.. Again the wrong thing to say to a Member, when I spoke with his Manager his actions were defended I was told that he did not mean for that to come across like it did well I don't care how he meant for it come across he never should have said it... There is not excuse for defending any kind of poor treatment of Customers and I will be pulling my membership with this establishment due to this fact... Desired SettlementI want them to step up and admit they have provided poor customer service and I am deserve an apology for the kind of treatment I have received over the last 9 months... Someone needs to act like they actually care about their members... This needs to come from the Highest level of Management at the Credit Union the owner of the Bank I am tired of getting past around to Manager after Manager and getting nothing accomplished except them making me more mad.. I want someone who is not going to defend the actions of the employees in question or try to blame any of this on me because that is just wrong and this is On them not me.... They should strive to keep member happy Business Response Leaders Credit Union has been contacted by the member several times over the past several months. All incoming calls are recorded, and the member's calls were reviewed to verify that the service received was up to the high standards of Leaders Credit Union. The Member Service Representatives were courteous in their conversations with the member, and attempted to work with the member to find a resolution that was acceptable to both the member and the Credit Union.Leaders Credit Union attempts to work with all members who have fallen behind on payments. Different options are presented to members who may be facing financial difficulties in an attempt to make repayment easier for the member, as doing so is beneficial to the Credit Union as well as the member.Leaders Credit Union takes any member complaint seriously, and management has reviewed the situation and feel that member service standards were adhered to in each communication with the member.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do not feel they met member standards!

Leaders opened an account in my name and deposited my check that was sent to their bank by mistake because wrong routing number was used and kept someI had my tax refund check electronically deposited on 3-30-16 and after about a week we found the problem and the check had went to Leaders C.U. because the wrong routing was used but the account number was correct for the bank I do business with Resource Federal C.U. I went to Leaders and they told me they deposited it by identifying me with my S.S.N. And that they withdrew $1218.20 for an outstanding loan which I don't remember a loan and asked for documentation on that and was told they didn't have it in their system because of the length of time. I did have an account with Leaders almost 20 years ago but not a loan and that account been closed for years. I never received any proof of the loan and they never informed me about depositing my check, if my tax preparer had not found the mistake I never would have know where my money went and that was very unprofessional and wrong. All I want is for them to return my money to me. The check should have been returned to my tax preparer because of the account number discrepancy. They had no right to open an account in my name. A whole week had passed and Leaders never sent me anything to inform me of their actions. The check was deposited on 3-30-16 and it was 4-5-16 that I found out and talk to them about their actions. The business is wanting me to pay for a charged off account that has already been paid.I called the business this morning to see why I was having about $200 worth of funds held for over 3 weeks. [redacted] was the first person I spoke with and he was very nice and tried to help me resolve the matter. He ended up needing to transfer me to the collections department where I spoke with a man, I believe his name was [redacted]. I told him that this account was already taken care of and he told me that he was showing it was due. I asked him which account this was for and he would not tell me, he also wouldn't tell me the amount of the bill or when the acct was charged off. I told him that I would look through my online records for my receipt since one had not been printed when the business drafted the money over a year ago. I ended the call. I went to my online banking to find the information that I needed and was unable to find it due to the amount of time that Leaders keeps its online records available.Desired SettlementI am seeking the hold be released from my account and that Leaders no longer try to place holds on my accountBusiness Response After reviewing and researching the complaint, we have discovered this was an error on the part of Leaders Credit Union. Upon further review, the funds had previously been removed from the member's account and the debt had been settled. We contacted our member to inform them of our oversight and refunded the money into the account.

Unexplained balance showing on your credit report. No assistance when called to get this resolved.With regards to account number: 429340000[redacted]. I recently notice a balance of $99 on by credit reports for Leaders Credit Union. I disputed this amount with the credit bureau and it came back verified remains. After that, I contacted Leaders Credit Union directly by phone to see if I could get this matter resolved. If I indeed owed this balance I would be willing to pay it to get it resolved. But when I called them directly about the debt they told me they could not locate information on this under my social. My question is... How could they have verified this with no information. The representative at the branch attempted to transfer me to a gentleman by the name of either[redacted] or[redacted] I left a voice mail message for him to call me, but he never returned my call. And that was more than 30 days ago. At this point I am extremely frustrated and I need someone to contact me as this information is unverifiable and its reporting could be an FCRA violation. The reporting to the credit bureau is correct according to our system, as previously verified through the credit dispute system. We have been unable to verify the call the member made to the Credit Union, as we do not have enough information to search for the recorded call. Neither name provided by the member is the name of any employee at the Credit Union. We do not have current contact information for the member, but the member is invited to call Leaders Credit Union again and request the Member Solutions Department for more information about the item being reported to the credit bureaus.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I invite the credit union to call me directly at XXX-XXX-XXXX. However, the information I provided is the same information that is reporting on my credit bureau file. If they are verifying this with the bureau, then they should be able to locate the records within their office. Not only that, I have an unusual name, so that should have narrowed down the search somewhat.Final Business Response We were able to locate the member's records and were able to verify the information reported to the credit bureau is correct. We do not have enough information regarding the member's original call to the credit union to determine why the employee was unable to locate the account, if that was the case. We attempted to contact the member at the telephone number provided in the Consumer Rebuttal, but a recording stated that the phone number had been disconnected. Again, we invite the member to contact our Member Solutions Department if they still have questions about the information reported to the credit bureau.

I am incredibly disappointed by what your Union City, TN bank branch put our organization through on August 26, 2015 by purchasing a vehicle without tI am incredibly disappointed by what your Union City, TN bank branch put our organization through on August 26, 2015 by purchasing a vehicle without the express consent of the legal owner (Northwest Tennessee Disaster Services), as shown by Tennessee State Vehicle Registration documentation.Our 2015 Toyota Tundra SR5 that has appeared in newspapers and television was resold by your bank for $33,000 just two days later on August 28, 2015 to a Toyota Dealerships in Dyersburg, TN and your bank didn't legally own the truck.In total, our organization spent well over $500 in towing, legal, body damage repair, and administrative fees through Toyota to retrieve our legal property back.Over a week passed that we were unable to provide emergency service to the residents of Northwest Tennessee with our vehicle because of your bank's neglegent behavior.We are sending aid to Columbia, South Carolina this week and I needed to pause briefly to reach out to your bank on behalf of our organization to properly inform you of how disappointed that we are in Leaders Credit Union's "Community Support".Desired SettlementFull restitution of stated financial damage.Business Response On August 26, 2015, a member of Leaders Credit Union visited our Union City branch to request a loan to purchase the 2015 Toyota Tundra owned by Mr. [redacted]. The loan was approved for the purchase and Mr. [redacted] provided our member with his account information with Toyota Financial in order to pay the vehicle off and complete our lien. On 9/1/2015 our member notified us that he was no longer purchasing the truck from Mr. [redacted]. The loan was reversed in our system and we placed a stop payment on the check that was sent to Toyota. Leaders Credit Union never had the title or possession of the vehicle. No advertisements were placed in the newspaper or on television by Leaders Credit Union for this vehicle. It is our understanding that Mr. [redacted] has possession of his 2015 Toyota Tundra.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Please provide a Tennessee Vehicle Bill of Sale proving that your customer was the legal owner of the 2015 Toyota Tundra SR5 when you purchased our vehicle. Northwest Tennessee Disaster Services is a Corporation with Board Members which is filed with the State of Tennessee. Mr. [redacted] is a board member and per corporate Articles of Incorporation, only a Board approved and documented sale of any of its assets are legal. At no time did Mr. [redacted] ever enter your bank, speak with an employee of your bank or provide any information to your bank, nor has the legal entity know as Northwest Tennessee Disaster Services ever done any business with your bank.You have gone out of your way to avoid answering the question of how you sold property not belonging to your bank to a Toyota Delership in Dyersburg, TN.Feature stories ran in August 2015 on WBBJ-TV and the Union City Messenger about the newly purchased 2015 Toyota Tundra SR5 owned by the corporation known as Northwest Tennessee Disaster Services that is used to provide Service Delivery to disaster victims in the area.Shame on your bank for victimizing a nonprofit organization due to your gross leglegence!Final Business Response Good afternoon,Leaders Credit Union did not purchase this vehicle, nor was ever in possession of the vehicle. In Tennessee a Bill of Sale is not required when purchasing a vehicle from an individual, therefore we never were in possession of a Bill of Sale. Leaders Credit Union does not purchase vehicles, we provide our members with financing options to purchase vehicles. Due to Leaders Credit Union never having possession of this vehicle, there were no advertisements placed on television or in any newspaper on our behalf. We are unaware of any additional steps that could be taken on our behalf to resolve this matter.
