Leaders Moving Company Reviews (77)

I am rejecting this response because: in the attached, there are types listed, however, I was not able to elect one; clearly they selected and highlighted an option for me Further, as I've previously stated, PUCO and their legal team support this information There is no disputing these facts The movers also did not bring the contract to me for signature until they had loaded half of my belongings and threatened to leave me if I did not fill in the indurance info as they directed The amounts/values and my sign-off were only in that contract because I was instructed I had to or I would be left with no movers There is NO WAY I would have known a specific value to fill in or that I had an option at that point to choose an alternative I was threatened.Further, I am also including as an attachment where [redacted] Cards has resolved my dispute with Leaders in my favor, so Leaders absolutely cannot deduct the cost of my move from any claim payment as the service payment is not due When this all started, I simply wanted to keep the two issues separate - the claim and the service dispute and this Revdex.com dispute is just for the claim payment and I when I was trying to resolve directly with Leaders, I simply wanted them to keep everything as separate issues and not deduct what was unrelated to my damage claim Only when they refused and I had my damage claim reviewed by PUCO and the legal team did they determine, using a LEGAL TEAM that Leaders did not follow protocol I want what is legally due to me under the regulations as stated by PUCO Regards, [redacted] ***

Dear Revdex.com RepresentativeYour notice said I could submit additional information to youAttached is a list of damaged or missing items from the move that was done by Leaders.Thank you

Leaders Moving has and will continue to resolve the complaint the client has brought forthWe continue hope that the client will allow us to address and resolve the actual lossThe continued attempt to slander or provide in accurate information is not helping the cause to bring the issue to a closeWe do need to correct the inaccurate information being provided. The client states we have had complaints within the lastmonths and our complaints are “on the rise”We have attached the actualstatics from the Revdex.comIn fact: 2013- complaints out of 7,customers 2014- complaints out of 8,customers 2015- complaints out of 7,customers (YTD)The salary of MrF* has no bearing or relevance to the claim processLeaders Moving will not comment nor disclose any salary or compensation of any employeeThe profitability of Leaders is not related in any way to the compensation of our employeesAny reference to such is an assumption and incorrect.Leaders Moving does not dispute there were damages done during the relocationImmediately after the client had contacted our office, and although payment was terminated from the client prior to such contact, we contacted an independent, reputable, nation wide restoration firm to evaluate the damageThis evaluation was given to the client as wellWe have attempted to move forward with repair and replacement per the assessmentUnfortunately we have not been permitted to move forwardInstead, we have been threatened from social media to government tax departments if we did not pay absorbent amounts beyond actual lossLeaders Moving is a reputable, ethical organization. Leaders takes great steps to ensure the very best in our customers' move experience. We do everything we can to accommodate the customers' needs, unfortunately there are those situations where we do not feel it is in the best interest of the consumer or the staff's safety to push the limits.I regret that the consumer feels as though Leaders perspective and account of the situation was inaccurate or untrue. Our business has been built upon our reputation based on integrity and providing excellent customer service for more than years. We are very proud of that fact. We also do not record any phone conversations as the consumer suggests as that would be a violation of the law.As previously stated, Leaders did attempt on several occasions to work to resolve the situation. However, due to the unknown weight of the safes and the fact that the aforementioned bar was not disassembled, we were not able to safely able to move the consumer's items as originally planned. Further, given the fact that there was miscommunication regarding the conditions of the move combined with pre-existing issues between the consumer and the new buyer, the move was not able to be completed. The consumer was never charged for any of the time spent by the staff and management as they were working to resolve the situation. It was unfortunate we were not able to accommodate the consumer's request when he contacted us later in the week, but unfortunately our schedule was already booked full for the day he requested. That being said, the issue with the bar that is still at the original location is more of a matter between the consumer the new homeowner. I have not heard of a situation where a new homeowner would not be amicable in a situation such as this and ultimately hold an item "hostage" unless there were other extenuating circumstances that are unknown. This is a matter between the consumer and the buyer of his home where the alleged $10,bar resides. I would suggest that the consumer reach out the the new homeowner to resolve this situation or contact his/her agent that assisted with the transaction. This is a fairly common situation and one that should be easily resolved.Steve L***, COOLeaders Moving & Storage Company

I am rejecting this response because: Leaders is still trying to deduct service charges unrelated to the damage claim from my claim payment and according to PUCO violated my rights by not offering me the three choices they should have for how I wanted to manage any damage claims should they arise According to PUCO, I am now due full replacement value

I filed a complaint ID *** and was sent out paperwork and a response from the Revdex.com and Leaders Moving and StorageI responded back with a letter to the Revdex.com, pictures and where things stoodThen over two weeks later I get a letter saying I did not respond and the complaint closedOn November 18th I made calls to the Revdex.com and even recorded the calls to show that no matter what option I choose it looped back to the beginningIt seems like the Revdex.com is not doing anythingI don't even see my complaint on the Revdex.com website!!!!In response to the rebuttal to my claim by Steve L***, COO of Leaders Moving & Storage Company I would like to correct a few of his mistakesFirst he mentioned that I had been reimbursed $by Leaders for repairs that I contracted out myselfThis is not a true statement because Mr L*** knows nothing of the situation at handWhat he is referring to is the day that Leaders moving came to our house 9-7-they were moving a $dollar treadmill from the finished basement to the upstarairs and they did mass amounts of damage all the way up the stairs to the walls, trim, door casings, wood floor, and the treadmillOn 9-8-at pm was our buyers final walk throughI couldn't just leave the mass amounts of damage for our buyers to see which could have cost me the sale of my house! No instead myself and my realtor spent the next hours fixing everything from patching, to mudding, staining, to filling chunks in the drywall, the trim, the casings, the flooring and when finally finished painting the mudroom and basement walls and trim! For all the damage to the house and to my treadmill (which is still damaged) they think they were kind in giving me $300??? Really??? As to his constant pointing out of our coverage that my wife elected I don't believe she was explained that there was any other coverage than what was chosenAlso I would not expect a moving company to do as much damage as this moving company did! I as the COO of the company would have shown up personally if my company did this bad of a job! They damaged the kitchen table and all chairs, they damaged the dining room table so bad it had to be replaced, they damaged the treadmill and the house that I mentioned above, they damaged my dresser and armoire, they damaged my daughters dresser, they damaged our desk, they damaged our leather chair, they damaged the flooring in my new house, they damaged the a door and trim in my new house, they damaged our industrial shelf, and they damaged my entertainment standThis is only the things we made claims onWe have taken there cheap settlements on most everything so we can put this behind us but we can not agree on the settlement on the flooring in the new house.Consumer’s Desired Resolution:I have made an offer to Deirdre S*** the Sr (and only) Claims Manager to settle for the flooring for $even though it would cost around $or more to fix it just to put this company and this mess behind us!

I have been in contact with the customer who filed this complain, *** ***. I believe we have this resolved, but before I file our resolution I have a question to discuss with you for clarity
Revdex.comThis message concerns complaint ID *** submitted on 9/5/
12:17:PM against Leaders Moving Company.

execise bike
other execise equipment
bar

big rugs
wooden tables
end glass tables
little dollie use to pull packages up the stairs
office chair
This is whats missingBut we are willing my husband and I to accept at least $for all of it or even $ I feel that is a fair deal

It is and inaccurateI would be more than happy to discuss this with the CEO Steve because the information he was given is falseI explained to Andrew that he was mistaken and nowhere and at no time did I tell him the safe's were under 100lbs or that they went on a counter topI know that they record calls I I even told Andrew that he should pull my recorded call because I specifically stated that the safes were extremely heavy and that the bar was extremely heavyLeaders moved the bar into the basement and the original guys they sent even remembered the bar being moved into the basementI would tell them to pull the call (for customer quality) and it will prove that I told them that the things we had were very heavy and that they needed multiple big guys to be able to move themI am ft lbs and I do Crossfit RegularlyDo you think if the safes were under 100lbs I could not have moved them myself with my furniture dollyCome on guys, you know your response is a lie and I explained this several times to Andrew that whoever took the information wrote it down wrong and that it wasnt my fault.Andrew is correct that the following morning the Buyers of the house would not let us in to get our things after previously agreeing to let us get them Monday morningI told Andrew the buyers take possession Sunday at pm and he said he could not get a moving crew there in time and we worked it out to be MondayHowever, the statements made thereafter are again a lieI never said I would be present for the moveMy parents were right there in the driveway with Andrew and we told him I had to work in Goshen Monday and that both of my parents would meet him thereHe agreed to be there Monday with a full crew at AM so that the things could be moved out before After speaking with Andrew on the phone after we were denied access to the house he state "I wore my nicest outfit today for this because I though I would be fired since I had no crew to be here this morning except for myself"We were told, both my parents and I by Andrew, that there was not a crew that was going to be available and that nobody had show up that morning at the shop when he leftI dont appreciate the lies here to try and make the business look betterIf you would have just admitted the mistake and tried to rectify it in the beginning we could have avoided all of this but after Andrew tried to say that this was also our fault is when things went southIf Leaders Moving would have properly moved my stuff Saturday there never would have been a problemAnd excellent customer service would have been when you screwed up to find any way to make it rightWe were only give a couple days notice for the second move so we could not provide one any sooner but on Monday I called called Andrew and left a message stating that we were looking at Friday for the move (this was days notice at that point) and that I would let him know officially when I heard but that he should plan on Friday to have a crewSeveral text messages were left on his personal phone as well as voice mails before I finally called the home officeSo again, it is a complete lie that Andrew was not responsive to phone calls and text messagesThere was plenty of communication from our end and it was not returned after I told Andrew it was Leaders fault and they needed to come up with a solutionI have Verizon logs of the texts and phone calls to his number as further proofFinally, the bar was not moved at that point because it was almost impossible to be sending pictures and waiting on quotes or return phone calls from other moving companies in a day turn around at that pointAfter leaders failed to communicate and let us know how they were going to solve the issue we had no choice but to scramble to get someone to move our things. No we were not charged initially by Leaders Moving but that doesnt exempt them from repsonsibility for telling us they could and would move our thingsWhen they were not able to they screwed the situation up further and ultimately cost us the move of our barWe were able to get the safes, the pinball and a couch moved but we could not get a crew together to move a bar that was that heavy on short noticeLeaders was given plenty of notice and had moved the bar beforeLeaders has not stepped up and taken responsibility for this and we have proof on multiple fronts that this is the caseFrom witnesses to the phone calls to your own recording of the conversation it is clear that from the beginning Leaders messed up royallyI mean seriously, go listen to the conversation againAnd honestly, if we moved most of a sq foot house ourselves, why wouldnt we be able to move a safe that was less than 100lbs??? I moved freezers full of meat out of my basement on the furniture dolly

Justin Zenn

I filed a complaint w/the Revdex.com this morningHere's whyTony is saying *** at the repair company is lyingThat doesn't make sense to meWhy would she tell him the drawer is ready when of course I'm going to call her to get it? Let's say she is lyingThat would mean your company is repeatedly hiring companies that do shoddy workThe drawer was returned to me times by the first company, & was still not even close to rightI'm going to forward a picture of it to you again of what it looked like after it was returned to me for the third time, in case you don't still have itYou then hire another great, reputable company that can't match it either? Accidents happenI understand thatMake it rightHiring shoddy companies to fix the mistakes your employees made is not the way to make it rightI am requesting through the Revdex.com to have my furniture replacedAll of itI can't go buy a new dresser that doesn't match the chest or bedI am no longer willing to accept your company to hire a third repair company

The client had informed the PUCO that coverage options were not disclosed and provided to the clientAs stated previously, this is inaccurateWe included in our last correspondence to the Revdex.com complaint, the exact bid that was emailed to the client that clearly indicates the coverage optionsIt is also noted that the client admits she received the did but did not open itUnfortunately we have no control that the client chose not to reviewHowever, I would assume the client has reviewed it since and if not, please do as it contradicts the accusation made

There are many issues, and untruths, with the Leaders Mover's, Mr***, response To clarify, he was not privy to the conversations nor part of the moving crew during our moveIt was only after I stopped payment on the check that Mr*** contacted meWe were told it would NOT be cashed until we spoke with Joe, our moving specialist Due to the urgency of our home closing situation and facing severe financial penalties from our home buyers, we had to trust what was told to us by the Leaders crew lead; however, after the numerous issues we experienced, we should have expected *** wasn't going to return my call, only after that was a stop payment applied to the check in case they were planning on cashing it without our knowledge, which is what happenedI also dont believe it's moral nor legal to cash a check being held as a deposit I am the responsible party contracted with Leaders and signed no other contract beside the discounted contracted, which was lower than the amount they told my husband to write the deposit for Their poor performance and lack of organization continues to cost us financially, emotionally, and caused physical stress on our family, friends, and hired help.Below is my response to Leaders Movers representative, *** ***, which he obviously had pure disregard for Revdex.com’s privacy and standards of conduct policy, specifically by releasing our personal informationHe released our personal information without my knowledge or permission, a trend he and his company seem to be committed too Since he publicly used his name, I will refer to him by his full name as well. The amount stated by *** *** is incorrect, I have attached the original bid of $which included every single item in our home with our household items packed and boxed with our materialThe quote he gave of $2,was quoted earlier in October and changed to the final $1,since we already had packing supplies and boxesAlso, neither driver showed up with any packing materials since none was needed(The separate cost for them to pack our items with materials was $2379)Mr*** claims that I called at 8:34am to change the inventory list, when in fact, I was panicked when their trucks and crews hadn't shown up yet, an inventory list was not discussed nor was it changed by my request! If I had told them during the call that "many of the inventory items were being removed", which I did not, then why did they promise to send the 2nd truck, which did show up, during this same callIf I had changed the inventory during that phone call, why was a second truck and crew sent?We moved into a small apartment which was loaded onto the 1st truck, it wasn't quite 1/full when they left and many boxes like our clothes, blackets, pots/pans, etcwere left behindIt took them hours to load it, which proves my original claim that the 2nd driver stopped all work for over an hour, his time can also be confirmed on the time log submitted by LeadersIt was very disheartening and emotional for me to experience the unprofessional behavior and disrespect the 2nd driver showed me, especially in front of my children and the confrontation with the 1st driver was also uncalled for and very embarrassing for me and my family in front of our friends and neighborsI immediately contacted *** and told him of the incident and this is when the claims of "much of the inventory" being removed and the 2nd truck leaving was blamed on us, the customerWe took bare minimum to our apartment which is partially furnished since we knew we were only staying less than days and we wouldn’t need most of our belongingsHad we had the 2nd crew that left due to the confrontation with the 1st crew, they could have been loading during this time and our move would have been completed by that eveningInstead, my husband started helping load the 1st truck at 6pm, after working a hr shift that day, and helped until almost 2amAfter the 1st 1/load drop around 6pm they returned to our house saying they were also tired from working over hrs that day, but they were instructed by corporate to keep working on getting the 2nd load filledMy husband and I had to unload the basement and some items upstairs into the garage because the crew was obviously slowing down and needing helpWe were all exhausted but worked until around 2amLeaders did not attach Tuesdays drive record and I am requesting that record now The driver of crew tried to contact *** Nickolson many times late Monday evening, without success The crew lead expressed concerns that he was scheduled for a trip to Tennessee in just a few short hours and was told he was the only driver available and required to goFrom my observation, he was very worried about driving due to the lack of sleep after being instructed to complete our move as well, but also concerned about his job if these items weren't completed per corporate requestIt appeared Leaders was very stretched for personnel during this time and corporate decided to keep their crew in the field working while making themselves unavailable during these 'non-business' hoursThe stress and physical exhaustion exacerbated my already deteriorated health and I had to come out of work immediately This whole situation has been a nightmare and is still costing us with every minute I have to spend worrying and writing these responses We feel many of our items, which they instructed us to not pack into boxes, yard tools, generator, smaller furniture pieces, etcwere carelessly thrown into boxes or bags by the 3rd truck which showed up the next morning, late again, and those items were counted as additional 'boxes' when we had in fact already been charged for these items on the inventory sheet There were NO concerns brought to us about the inventory or about the concern about their statement of "It was noted by the 2nd crew that there was a great deal more to move than what was charged for." So why did this truck leave? Again, his response doesn't cover many "issues" he claims, but only trying to deflect Leaders actual level of quality serviceThey forgot to schedule our move, they showed up late on both days, they made mistakes, they double charged for items, they were misleading and untruthful about costs, they caused us to miss our closing mostly due the 2nd truck and crew leaving because of the conflict with the other driver, most of the staff we had the unpleasant experience working with were unprofessional and disrespectful, and all the while they are trying to create a distraction and blame us, the customer, and charge us to cover the costs and trouble of their mistakes. Also, Leaders, *** ***, called me and I asked him to call back after 5pm Central Standard Time since I was in Rochester, MN at the hospital for treatment, I missed a call from him at 4pm CST, another breakdown in communicationsWhen we did speak after this, I tried to work out a proper amount but they refused to accept a penny less than what the deposit check was written for, so I ended the callI explained to him I was upset about not receiving the disount promised and to not contact me via phone any further and that Leaders should send any further communications by US mail ONLYLeaders representatives, *** and his manager, then called several times in row after, my requests were obviously ignored whiched created a very harassing situation.I feel the disorder and lack of organization of the company created their internal inventory issues, which is why they were cursing and fighting in the front area while my young children and neighbors were presentI broke down in tears the remainder of the day because we needed and paid for the second truck and crew and had to watch them drive away to leave us, the customer, to finish the jobI have attached a statement from our Realtor and her husband with their observation of the move, they were present for much of the move

These are the things thats missing we don't have (Revdex.com Note: Consumer submitted pictures that appear to be from a catalog representing the items described below)

We are saddened by the accusation that there is an untruth being toldIt is fact that Leaders Moving Cohas never been contacted by any authorities We have stated from the beginning, we have interviewed our staff in depth and have no reason to assume it was taken nor do we have the watch in questionUpon seeing the report supplied by the client, we have called Detective *** to initiate there processesMr*** was not available but we have left a message on his personal voice mailLeaders Moving Coand our staff are eager to communicate and follow whatever steps are necessary to promote our quality reputation

I apologize that he overall experience on this move was not a positive oneOur overall goal is to always provide exceptional customer service before, during and after the move. When we hear that we did not achieve that goal, we take that input very seriously and work to correct the
situation. Although we take great steps in preventing damage from occurring and are well below the national average, we understand things will happen from time to time and work diligently to resolve any outstanding issuesThere are a few corrections form the customer's statements The move occurred on 9/7/(customer stated 8/7/2016) The total cost of the move was $1,(customer stated $2,000.00). The initial quote was originally $1,307.00, but went down due to items the customer elected not to be moved the day of the moveLeaders regrets that there were damages associated with this move; however, the claims department has been diligently working toward resolving all issues since the day the claim was reported 9/13/2016). The customer has been reimbursed $by Leaders for repairs that he contracted out himself although this is not procedure. In addition, the dining room table cannot be repaired to the customer’s satisfaction, therefore Leaders has agreed to purchase a new table. The remaining items are all in the process of being repaired by certified repair specialistsThe customer elected depreciated coverage with their move that came with a $deductible In a good faith gesture, Leaders initially waived that deductible The coverage information was sent directly to the customers on several occasions (8/18, 8/20, 8/29, 8/30) prior to the move, thus allowing any changes or modifications to the elected coverage to be made. In addition, the customer agreed to the valuation coverage elected the day of the move and indicated his/her agreement by initializing the invoice and writing in the declared value and the agreed upon deductible…again, which was waived by Leaders during the claims process (see attached contract)All claim issues that the customer made us aware of have been, or are being resolved currently. The claim will not be closed until everything has been address according to the contractual agreement signed by the customer. I am rejecting this response because: I find it interesting that even in their response to this complaint Leaders Moving is lying I have informed *** that I filed a police report with *** *** Sheriff's Department by Friday May 1st Also detective *** *** called me and informed me that he tried to contact Leader's Moving but could not get a hold of anyone This shows that Leader's Moving is lying in their response to Revdex.com I also sent a certified letter to Leader's Moving to inform them that I filed the report I am enclosing a letter from the Sheriff's Department with the report number as well as the signature receipt with Leader's Moving employee's signature showing that they received the letter Leader's Moving is responsible for my missing watch, since they contracted with me to move my belongings and the watch never was delivered to my new home Leader's Moving employees were the only once who had access to it before it disappeared By taking the watch or misplacing it they did not fulfill the contract and therefore are responsible for the lost belongings

Here is my response to Leaders:From reading the prior complaints filed against Leaders Moving, most of which that originated in the past months, I am familiar that Leaders drafts its responses in a manner that explains why its customers are wrong and ultimately offers to do the bare minimum required by law. I have used Leaders Moving four times previously. The prior three times, the service was exceptional. However, the Revdex.com complaints corroborate that something process-wise has changed recently as complaints are on the rise over the past months. As such, I think the quoting of percentages as to how often Leaders receives significant complaints is misleading. Further, their past complaint success rate does not exonerate them from current bad service. In short, my settlement offer to Leaders, which they quote as a gross number, reflects the damages actually caused to my property (based on their chosen vendor to assess said damages) and my desire to split the final bill 50/due to the fact I think we cannot agree on an accurate amount of the true damages caused. Damages aside, I also think it would be the right thing to do for Leaders to acknowledge that their service was horrific (see examples in previously filed complaint). I find it amusing that Jason states he did not tell me he is evaluated on profitability and that it is not a motivating factor in his unwillingness to accept less than 100% of the bill presented by Leaders. He absolutely made statements to me about the importance of profits to himself and Leaders, and his actions of being unwilling to compromise on a bill when horrible service was present speak louder than his words. If Jason is so adamant to dispute this fact, I would like him to submit to the Revdex.com, and for public consumption, his full compensation arrangement terms, notarized, proving that he is not compensated on the profits of the business.Leaders is balking at anything less than a low ball offer to fix damages as legal laws afford movers certain protections to only actual damages. This gives moving companies an "easy out" when they under deliver on their service commitments, which Leaders is showing it is all to willing to take. The fact is the damage their employees caused to my property may be $3,higher than the assessment provided by their chosen vendor. This doesn’t even factor in the heartache and time commitment of fighting with a company you previously trusted to rectify damages they caused. While perhaps not legally covered in their obligation for damages, it is indicative as to how poor of a customer-service based company this is. In particular, Jason F* is one of the greediest and worst customer-service oriented managers I've ever encountered. If Jason is so adamant to dispute this fact, I would like him to submit to the Revdex.com his compensation arrangement terms and human resource documentation, that is notarized, and verifies that he is not compensated on the profits of the business. The prior standing of Leaders with Revdex.com is irrelevant to this complaint, and it is appropriate to file factual accounts of poor customer service and property damages caused by a moving company with the Revdex.com, so that other potential customers know the full account of issues and the Company's response. The fact that Leaders feels they should be paid 100% of a ~$3,service that they badly botched is indicative of their greed. Leaders response that my tactics are unethical because they use disparagement threats is inappropriate. You cannot disparage a company when you are only telling the truth. In short, I would like Leaders to cover the damages calculated by their vendor, and also split the bill 50/with me to account for the disagreement in the value of damages and poor customer service. This would still result in Leaders receiving $1,for two poorly trained and physically unfit employees to move my belongings approximately miles. The damages would be a wash. This does not seem like an unreasonable proposition in the face of such poor customer service

It is not the intent of Leaders to create any frustration or
added stress as a result of your move.
It is very clear that your move did not live up to the standards or
expectations that Leaders has been known for in the industry for over
years. As I have said in my prior
communications, we take full responsibility for the series of events that has
brought us to this point
Although we may disagree on certain points in this matter,
continuing down this path will not bring us any closer to our ultimate goal of
finding an amicable resolution
You have requested a desired settlement of $in your
response to the Revdex.com. In a good faith
attempt to resolve this issue and move forward, I am willing to meet you more
than halfway with a settlement of $700.00.
This amount includes a $penalty for missing your closing and a
$Uhaul rental fee for items you stated needed to be moved after our crew
had left
If you are acceptable to this, I would ask that supporting
documentation for the above requested items (closing documents showing a
penalty accessed in the amount of $and a copy of the Uhaul invoice in
the amount of $200.00) be faxed or emailed to my attention at Fax: *** or emailed to: ***. In addition to sending this information, the
balance of your move totaling $will need to be received by
12/03/2014.
I again apologize for the issues related to your move and I
am hopeful we can bring this matter to a close

Leaders has been a member of the Revdex.com for over years and not only has been Revdex.com Accredited during that time, but holds an A+ rating for business practices. Over the last years, Leaders has held a commitment to ensure all complaints are resolved fairly and in a good faith effort. In regards to the consumers rejection, I am confused as to the statement that the information provided was inaccurate and untrue Leaders was first made aware of the damages on the move by Mr*** on 9/13/when the claims manager returned the call and began the claim process Mr*** explained that repairs were done by himself prior to reporting the claim After a discussion with the client, it was agree upon to issue a reimbursement of $(I originally stated $300) that would cover the repairs Mr*** made prior to 9/8/and an appearance allowance for the treadmill (see attached document) The treadmill appearance allowance was made in lieu of repairing as the damage was cosmetic and did not affect the operation of the unit This allowance was agreed to in advance of the reimbursement by both parties.Leaders schedule a preferred vendor to address and repair all other items that were damaged on the move for 9/21/ All items have been cared for with the exception of a custom made desk The desk repair was going to require the desk be taken to the shop for approximately two weeks for repair; which the customer was not agreeable to In an effort to handle this claim conveniently for the customer, Leaders agreed to have a new desk manufactured that matched the original.Regarding the coverage options...Leaders provides Depreciated Coverage at no additional charge to our customers The additional option was for Full Replacement Coverage which, as previously stated, was sent to the customer on several occasions This coverage option was included on the original estimate sent via email and on subsequent emails when adjustments to inventory and/or changes were made (see attached document). In good faith, Leaders has spoken with the consumer and has agree to their desired resolution and has mutually agreed that the claim has been resolved to their satisfaction and now closed.Steve L***, COO Leaders Moving & Storage Company
