Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The reference to avoiding payment for a second time is referring to my original request for treatment of mosquitoes, spiders and ants When the gentleman came out to do the treatment I asked if the spider treatment would also kill ants and if the weather about to turn cold would take care of the mosquitoes, since the cost was so high, and he agreed that I did not need the other two treatments and accepted my request to only treat for mosquitoes This speaks directly to the business practices of Black Diamond's corporate officeI do not feel the warnings I received were clear in regards to warning neighbors I did not ask to take a picture of the neighbors deceased cat for obvious reasons Black Diamond is more than welcome to spend money on collection efforts I will not pay and my Louisville network will hear about my experience Regards, [redacted]

@page This marks the second time that this customer has attempted to forego paying for completed servicesIn the first instance we gave the benefit of the doubt and adjusted off an aservice that the customer had signed up for (verifiable by phone recordings)In this case the customer has presented a scenario without basis in fact or possibilityFirst, the customer received a full run-down of required preparations for the service which would have included any restrictions against human or animal contact with the applied products (thus the burden of keeping things out would fall on the customer), and second (and most importantly), none of the products utilized for the service would have been capable of harming a cat as suggested without any evidence whatsoever by the customerFurthermore, the service was performed on October 7, 2017, and carried a day warrantyThe customer made no follcontact regarding issues with the service until he would have received a past-due statement in December (there were no phone calls to or from Black Diamond 11/or 11/as stated...no contact was made until 12/5/17)It was at that point the customer informed the office of the aforementioned service issuesUnfortunately, filing a complaint with the Revdex.com does not relieve anybody of the burden of outstanding bills for services performedThe bill of $remainsPrompt payment is expected and will save the customer additional expenses related to any necessary collections efforts

After a frustrating pest issue in my home, the CEO came out for a visitHe educated me on bat infestations and the evidence present on my homeHe provided a solution to address my concerns

Mr*** entered into a contract for monthly services with Black Diamond (attached)Per the contract, Black Diamond was to perform no less than monthly services starting in JanuaryWhen we called ahead for the February service, Mr*** mentioned that he had lost his job and couldn't pay for
the service that monthWe canceled that service (and March's) and did not charge a service run because we were notified prior to arriving at the propertyIn the attached phone conversation from 3/we were clearly instructed that Mr.*** would have a job and that April was a good date to resume the serviceOur office agent even volunteered to verify the date with him closer to the time; however, Mr*** said that the date would work for him.Our technician made an unanswered courtesy call (which is typical) and proceeded to the property for the agreed-upon serviceAt that time, he was turned away, and, per company policy, a service charge was left.At no time did Mr*** cancel the service prior to 4/Mr*** is, in fact, in breach of contract and is basing this complaint upon faulty memory or untruthWe would respectfully request that this complaint be removed from the Revdex.com based upon the records submitted

time to an empty house and promptly called the customer who informed him that she did not want the service and had left a voicemail to cancel the previous Saturday(4/11/2015) around 5:After researching the matter, our staff determined that no such call/voicemail occurred, and the customer was billed for the missed appointment...as most appointment-dependent companies doThis charge was reduced from the agreed upon cost of service as we merely attempt to cover the cost of wasted time and travel rather than require the full amount of the verbal agreement. Here are the supporting reports from our phone system:Every call received in our phone system (since Sept 2013) from Mrs.*** number: *** *** *** *** ** * *** *** * *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** * *** *** * *** * ** * * *** *** * *** * *** * * *** *** * *** * ** ** *** *** * *** * ** *The second call was a left voicemail explaining that we were unable to locate a cancellation call, that the missed appointment charge would stand, and please call back The third call was a follsince we hadn't heard back after the second call The fourth call was from our accounts payable as a reminder of the account balance; a letter followed a few days later after no return call was made. From close of business Friday 4/to open of business Monday 4/13, we received voicemails in our systemThese voicemails were promptly reviewed and documented by our office staff and none originated from Mrs*** numberFor obvious reasons, I will not include the complete list here, but within the hour of the time provided by Mrs.*** to our technician (5-6pm on 4/11), we received voicemails (in fact, we only received call from a number in the*** area code, and that person hung up before going to voicemail)She contends that that call took place the day before service (4/12) in the complaint; however, in addition to no incoming calls from her number that day, all three calls that came in that day from unnamed sources (cell phones) were from different customers. If Mrs*** would like to provide an alternate number for us to search in the event that our office staff may have overlooked a particular voicemail from a different number, we would be more than happy to do more research as every call we receive is documented in our database and every voicemail received is archivedIn fact, we would have been more than happy to do this prior to this filing had Mrs.*** simply returned our calls and provided information matching our call recordsIf we are able to see that there was an attempt to cancel the service prior to our going out, the charge will be removedFor now, the charge will remain as it would appear as though the Revdex.com is simply being used in an attempt to forego paying the bill for our time and effort (again, not the total amount of the verbal contract)The complainant never made an attempt to communicate with us prior to filing this complaint (as the Revdex.com website suggests)Based on the fact that there was no attempt to contact us to resolve this issue and the evidence from our detailed records, we can only conclude that it this complaint is without merit, based upon falsehood, and should not be permitted

Furthermore, the service was performed on October 7, 2017, and carried a 30 day warranty. The customer made no follow-up contact regarding issues with the service until he would have received a past-due statement in December (there were no phone calls to or from Black Diamond 11/1 or 11/30 as stated...no contact was made until 12/5/17). It was at that point the customer informed the office of the aforementioned service issues. Unfortunately, filing a complaint with the Revdex.com does not relieve anybody of the burden of outstanding bills for services performed. The bill of $175 remains. Prompt payment is expected and will save the customer additional expenses related to any necessary collections efforts.

On 4/7/2015 when I contacted Black Diamond it was to schedule an appointment for an estimate.  I did not agree to have Black Diamond perform an exterior wasp service as indicated in their reply.  The appointment was for an estimate only.   Other companies were scheduled to come and provide estimates also.   Based on the estimates received, my husband and I made the best choice and then scheduled a follow up appointment for service with the company we selected.   Black Diamond references their research and sophisticated telephone system, however, the cancellation was not made from my cell phone.  The call was made from a work phone.  Outgoing phone calls made from my work number display a number that is non-operational.  I will not provide Black Diamond with additional personal information such as my work number, so they can conduct further searches.   In their reply it stated that I had made no attempt to call and speak with them regarding the fees being charged.  This is not accurate.   When the technician showed up at the house and there was no one at home, a customer service representative called me.  I spoke with her and shared with her that I had canceled the appointment.  She immediately told me that I had not called them and I would be charged for the service call.  She spoke over me and refused to listen.   I would have expected them to at least attempt to reschedule the appointment, however, no effort was made to reschedule.   The technician who was assigned the appointment called me from his cell phone regarding the appointment.  He was a very nice person and listened to me explain the situation.  He suggested that I call the office and speak with them regarding the assessed fee.  I called one additional time from work and attempted to reach an agreement.  The company chose to stand behind their telephone system reports.  I stand behind my initial complaint.  Black Diamond is attempting to collect a fee for a service that was not provided.  By including my personal cell phone number in their reply only further indicates that this company is not customer service friendly and deals with challenging situations in a manner that is unprofessional.
