Review: I applied for an LPN endorsement license with the state of PA about days ago, and as per the PA board of nursing, they require a copy of my transcripts sent to them DIRECTLY from the school where I attended my studies with an official school envelopI called [redacted] (receptionist) at leads school and explained to her what I need from them and I was told that I had to send my request via fax with a dollar money order to follow inorder for them to print my transcripts and sent them to the PA board of nursingI did as I was instructed and assuming my transcripts were already sent out, I waited for my license via mailTwo weeks later I received a letter from the PA board claiming that they were still waiting for my transcriptsi called leads school to inquire why my transcripts were not sent out even after I had met their requirement[redacted] told me that the transcripts were ready and had been for a while awaiting for me to pick them up!!? I expressed my frustrations and disappointment and demanded to speak to someone elsei was directed to sylvia (person incharge of getting transcripts) and after going back and forth with them ([redacted])they finally sent the transcripts outI waited to here back from the PA board concerning my license and when I did not receive any info from them after two and a half weeks, I decided to call the board only to be told that they had just sent me a letter via mail the day before explaining that they could not use the transcripts they had received since they did not come in an official school envelope with a return addressI called leads school today 5/8/and spoke to [redacted] and explained to her that I needed the same transcipts resent again and must have an official school envelopInstead she wanted me to call PA board of nursing and have them sent back the other transcripts they have so the school can put them in an official envelop and resend them and if not, I will need to pay dollars for them to sent another copy.Desired Settlement: I need the school to stop holding my transcripts ransom and sent them out to PA board of nursing ASAP since it was their mistake of not sending them via an official school envelop in the first placei dont think its fair for me to go thro the hustle of calling the PA board to send the transcripts backso they can put them in an official envelopthat will take days for the school to receive them and the sch to sent them out againi have already lost so much time thanks to the school's blunder

regarding transcripts or any other forms or documents - all requests must be put in writing
[redacted]’s last request was mailed to school without proper written request form – inside of an envelope was only money order to pay for a transcriptLeads School have processed the transcripts accordingly but without written request as to where the transcripts must be mailed; we put the transcripts a side until we speak with a studentAs of May 14, student does not have his voice mail set upSeveral attempts to contact student were made but we were unable to leave a messageFinally student called schoolHe was not happy, his transcripts were still at the schoolWe have explained to him, we could not mail transcripts out due to not knowing where to mail themAt that time, student said to send transcripts to PA Board of Nursing, which we did
Student contacted school last week telling us the transcripts we sent to the PA Board of Nursing were not in an official envelope and PA Board of Nursing did not accept themLeads School of Technology has a process in place regarding official transcripts and all are always being sent in sealed envelopesBut to immediately assist the student, we have processed another transcript and mailed this time via certified mail directly to the PA Board of NursingStudent was happy
When Leads School received the complaint, after several call attempts I was finally able to speak with [redacted]Student expressed his frustration that PA Board
of Nursing refused to accept his transcript at firstHe stated being very busy, not having enough time, going through a lot in his lifeI have address the position school took regarding his complaintStudent expressed, he will call Revdex.com and withdraw his complaint letter
